Great location in the vicinity of shops, public transportation and tourist attractions. Great costumer service provide before, during and after. Laura gave us some nice recommendations 😊. Great appartement, neat and spacious. Only negative point: shower water switching from hot to cold continuously during showering. But did not affect the overall experience and service 🙏🏽😊

We had a wonderful stay! Ana welcomed us with such warmth and kindness, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The house is spotless, tidy, and thoughtfully prepared with everything we needed. We especially loved the balcony — it’s the perfect spot to enjoy the sunrise with coffee and watch the sunset in the evening. The kitchen is exceptionally well-equipped, with plenty of cutlery and cooking tools that made preparing meals a joy. Overall, it’s a comfortable and peaceful stay that we would happily recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Está ubicado en un barrio poco seguro, no tiene ascensor y las escaleras son súmante estrechas, camas y mobiliarios viejos y tapados con telas mal colocadas. Es amplio, tiene todo los electrodomésticos y me gusto la forma del checking online y el staff te brinda buena atención. Es limpio pero no en detalle. la relación calidad precio es baja. Toallas de regular calidad para no detallar. Una recomendación es avisar al cliente que tiene que pagar impuestos de turismo e indicarle que es parte de las regulaciones locales, al final no es el precio total

i came to barcelona to settle down here, but it was really hard to find a place to live for high demand. first of all, there were not so many properties available in the market, and they were being taken by people booking without viewing (booking tends to be done completely online, and tenants see the property for the first time when they are handed over keys). i still wanted to stick to viewings then make a decision. unfortunately, i tend not to be prioritised by a few other agencies here (which i can completely understand). then, i met regina at loca barcelona. she attentively addressed my enquiries before and after my arrival in barcelona via whatsapp and tried hard to arrange viewing by reaching out to the landlord for a key and finding timeslot out of this high season. she even had her colleague alessandro to help me to accommodate my request for earlier viewing, and he perfectly followed her up. it was almost the end of their business hours, but regina kindly supported my booking so that i do not miss a rare opportunity to secure my place. everything went extremely quick and smooth, and i'm satisfied with a good, pleasant flat to live but rent below my original budget. documentation was also hassle-free. the entire loca barcelona team was seamless and efficient when it comes to assisting me from viewing to booking and to check-in. as soon as deciding my move-in date, alejo and nathan were assigned. alejo provided me with the draft tenancy agreement in spanish for me to translate and read it through beforehand as i don't know the language. nathan patiently attended my inventory check-in and my questions on the agreement. even now the two are giving me full-stop support with proper pieces of advice and prompt responses to my questions. i completely resonate those coming to live in barcelona outside spain without knowing the language or local rental market practice. for those people, regina and the rest of loca barcelona team will certainly be of your good help. they are professional and willing to help you out.

Alquilé un departamento con esta inmobiliaria durante 4 meses y fue una experiencia pésima. Desde el primer día las condiciones acordadas no se cumplieron. A pesar de haber confirmado con mucha antelación que podríamos mudarnos el 1 de mayo, al llegar esa fecha (feriado en España) nos exigieron pagar un extra por la entrega de llaves, algo que jamás se mencionó previamente. El alquiler incluía limpieza semanal, pero resultó ser una farsa. El propietario ingresaba al apartamento sin permiso, usando su propio juego de llaves. Lo encontramos dentro del piso en tres ocasiones y comprobamos que entraba cuando no estábamos, moviendo nuestras pertenencias. Denunciamos inmediatamente esta situación a Loca Barcelona, pero no hicieron absolutamente nada ni ofrecieron ninguna protección o mediación. Cuando rescindimos el servicio de limpieza, el propietario insistió en seguir entrando “para limpiar el filtro del aire acondicionado”, lo cual obviamente no permitimos. Al finalizar el contrato intentaron retener 2000 € de fianza por supuestos daños que ya estaban registrados en el inventario inicial. Solo tras recurrir a abogados logramos recuperar la mayor parte, aunque aún perdimos 900 € injustamente. Las fotos adjuntadas son del momento de salida del apartamento para que quienes lean este comentario sean consientes del excelente estado en el que se lo entrego. En resumen, Loca Barcelona fue completamente negligente, no protege a los inquilinos, no media en los conflictos y permite abusos por parte de los propietarios. Mi consejo es evitar esta inmobiliaria si buscan una experiencia seria, profesional y segura.

Sur le papier tout semble super même s’il les tarifs sont prohibitifs, la réalité en est toute autre État de l’appartement, sale et délabré , annonce mensongère , cherche à vous facturer des travaux inhérent au propriétaire, ne respecte pas la loi .. ne répondent qu’à ce qui les arrange .. une HONTE .. Mais ils vous, envoie un questionnaire de satisfaction Google, juste à la remise des clefs, vous demandant si vous êtes satisfait du processus de réservation.. On soit le processus de réservation est plutôt bien, mais l’après par contre c’est un cauchemar Une prise d’otages. Donc ne vous fiez pas aux bons avis, ils ne sont pas écrit au bon moment

abusive practices, unsanitary conditions and illegal billing attempts. We rented an apartment through LocaBarcelona and the experience was disastrous from start to finish. Upon moving in (June 2024), the apartment showed serious hygiene and maintenance issues, including: • mattresses stained with urine and no protective covers, • lack of cleanliness, • broken furniture, • damaged and unsafe flooring, • a broken bidet mixer, • and the main bedroom wardrobe locked, denying us its use. Despite numerous written complaints, the agency ignored us for days. Only after we sent photo and video evidence did they finally agree to replace the mattresses – but by then we had already purchased mattress covers and cleaned the flat ourselves. The most serious issue was the cooking hob, completely defective from day one. After a week of silence from the agency, we had to replace it at our own expense just to be able to cook. Now, LocaBarcelona is trying to charge us for that replacement, in direct violation of Article 21 of the Spanish Urban Leasing Law (LAU), which clearly states that such equipment is the landlord’s responsibility. Despite the evidence, LocaBarcelona continues to deny their legal obligations, acting arrogantly and claiming “the case is closed”, as if a private company could decide the law in Spain. Their behavior clearly constitutes an attempt at extortion, already reported to the Agència Catalana de Consum. • Dirty and poorly maintained property, • Urine-stained mattresses, • Zero responsiveness, • Persistent bad faith, • And an attempt to charge tenants illegally. Avoid this agency at all costs. LocaBarcelona shows no respect for the law, decency or their clients. We publish this review to warn future tenants and help them avoid the same ordeal.

I had a fantastic stay! The apartment was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described. The location is perfect—quiet yet close to everything you need. I especially want to highlight the host, Jefferson: super friendly, attentive, and always quick to respond. Check-in was seamless, and Jefferson shared great tips for restaurants and activities that made our trip even better. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen was fully equipped, and thoughtful touches like coffee, tea, and local recommendations made the stay extra pleasant. I felt welcome and comfortable at all times. Positives: -A perfect location with lots of highlights nearby like the popular neighborhoods. Subway is close-by. -Communication is smooth. The response time is quick. My compliments to Jefferson. -Enough bathroom and kitchen amenities. -Lots of natural light in the living room. We had a spectacular view from the living room of the Merce Major festival fireworks. Negatives: -the boiler was leaking (creating a potential electrical hazard) and made a terrible loud noise. -the elevator made a lot of noise which made a good night rest in the first room quite challenging. -the apartment needs a touch up. Its a bit dated. -some rooms (like the second bedroom) have too much furniture. So be prepared to hit your head or toes several times. -Wifi was not working properly.

I rented an apartment in Sant Antoni via Loca Barcelona and had a fantastic experience. I absolutely loved the apartment and it exceeded my expectations from what I could see online. I felt truly at home. Fidel was my contact throughout the stay and he was fantastic and a super lovely guy - he met me there on the day I moved in and out, and helped me very quickly when there were any issues in the apartment (and a technician always came quickly to fix anything that was needed). I really enjoyed my stay and was sorry to leave - gracias Fidel!

I rented an apartment from Loca Barcelona and the experience has truly been great! The apartment is wonderful and exceeded my expectations from what I could see online. Moreover they have been incredibly helpful and communicative the whole way. Alessandro helped me in the beginning with getting the necessary approvals from the owner. The process was very fast and well communicated. Then Nathan and Alejo welcomed me to the apartment and handled the contract. When I messaged them about small issues in the apartment they replied often within minutes, and a technician came already the next day for the fix. They're just super helpful and understanding and have made my stay in Barcelona very stable and relaxing.

Bad customer service. I wanted to rent an apartment here for 11 months and see it beforehand. I called, they told me to contact them through whatsapp. I do that, they reply one week afterwards but just with a "thanks". No answer to my questions or trying to move forward with the renting process. Through email, they asked me to send all my documents to be approved BEFORE setting a date to see the apartment. I did so -everything has been approved by other agencies- but nothing. Also, at times I wasn't sure if I was talking with a bot because of the terrible and weird grammar (everything in Spanish). If they weren't interested in renting it to me for whatever reason, they should just say so.

Excelente alojamiento en Barcelona. Muy cómodo, limpio y con una ubicación inmejorable cerca del metro lo que nos permitió movernos sin ningún problema a todos lados. La atención de Gerard a la llegada fue excelente también. Sin dudas recomiendo el lugar y volvería sin pensarlo!

The reception staff were very warm and responsible. The recommended scenic spots, restaurants and bars were all excellent. The living environment was great, except for the extremely poor sound insulation. We spent four wonderful nights here and really enjoyed Barcelona.

I had a very comfortable stay here. The apartment is spacious with several rooms, plenty of storage, perfect air conditioning, two bedrooms and two bathrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen — everything you need to feel at home. The location is also excellent and made daily life very convenient. Gerard, who welcomed me at the beginning and kept in touch through messages, was incredibly kind and helpful. Thanks to him, I was able to start my stay without any worries. Thank you so much!!

Belen was our contact for the duration of the stay and she was super helpful in making sure I had pre registered guests, giving directions to get there ok and welcoming me to the apartment. Always helpful and quick to respond so thanks Belen! The apartment itself was perfect for our stay - quiet, well kept and cool with the air con available. We didn’t use the kitchen beyond having drinks but it was well equipped. We only noticed very minor issues such as some loose hooks or handles in the apartment which were nothing! We were facing away from the main road so appreciated the quiet and all having our own bedrooms. Very happy with the apartment and Belen whilst we were away. It’s a good sized apartment for 3 people and very well placed with the metro and good range of tapas places nearby. There is a lovely old lift in a well kept old style apartment block as a nice feature too.

Very well appointed apartment and the location was excellent. The Gothic Quarter is our favourite area in Barcelona so very easy to get through the Quarter. This was a wonderful accommodation! Belen was very helpful and informative, and met us at the apartment on our arrival to welcome us and provide the keys and instructions. The apartment was more beautiful than the photos- lovely decor, spotlessly clean, perfectly set up. The location was an easy walk from Sagrada Família train station and so convenient for sight seeing. We would highly recommend this accommodation and would definitely book it again if we return to Barcelona!

Great convenient location 1 block from Sagrada Familia. Spectacular rooftop porch provides up close views. 3 modest sized bedrooms were comfortable enough. Small kitchen and TV viewing areas. Bathrooms were fine but somewhat inconvenient at the end of the apartment. Elevator is small, limited to 2 passengers at a time. We had a great stay but the apartment is probably better for a smaller group than our group of 6 (3 couples).

A very cozy interior, a view of a stunning cathedral with a chapel, the apartment is shaded by trees so the rooms don’t overheat, located just a minute from the metro, so you can easily reach any point of the city in 20 minutes. The apartment is equipped with household appliances, so you can feel at home.

My check in agent was Jefferson. He was super kind and was very fast in respond. If I asked him something he was there right away. He gave me tips and places where I could go in Barcelona. He did his job very well!!!

Our stay with LOCA Barcelona was the fantastic. Everything went incredibly smoothly and the apartment was exactly as described. Our positive experience was mostly due to our wonderful check in agent Jefferson. He was incredibly helpful and kind, replied quickly to all of our questions and requests and personally reached out to make sure our stay was satisfactory before and after our departure! If we could give 5 stars to him personally we would!

As far as the location of the apartment goes, it's very convenient; extremely close to many metro lines and bus stops. Unfortunately, we (4 people) experienced some problems with the bathroom sink, which stopped draining properly, and with cockroaches, that appeared twice during our stay. We couldn’t use the sink for several days despite promptly informing the host. As for the cockroaches, although we reported the issue right away, the situation was only addressed after their second appearance, happened after a day, which was disappointing and in turn made us uncomfortable.

Great location. Walking distance to Sagrada familia. Very clean. Quiet apartment but close to cafes and restaurants. Jefferson was very helpful when we arrived & gave us lots of useful information on what to see/where to eat etc. Would definately stay here again.

👉 I am only posting this a few months later, because we were afraid we wouldn’t get our deposit back and because of the threatening behavior of some staff members What a terrible company – we were genuinely shocked. At first, everything seems neatly arranged, but that changes quickly. As soon as you have a service request, you are deceived and manipulated. They claim they will handle it but keep postponing. We heard all kinds of excuses, from Vinka supposedly having had an accident to someone else being on vacation. They burden you with their staff issues, try to gain sympathy, and leave you with the problems. For months, we had to deal with a leakage, radiators that never worked during the entire rental period, and utility bills (gas, water, electricity) that we repeatedly requested but never received. Every issue was brushed aside with a “it’s coming” or “sorry, there was…”—always implying that nothing could actually be done. Our biggest obstacle with this agency, however, was the contract renewal. We weren’t strict enough about it beforehand, as it had always been clear to us that we wanted to rent from November to June. LOCA split the contract into two parts and, in the second one, imposed absurd conditions on us (while we were still living with the leakage!): we had to pay the entire rental period in one single payment, otherwise we would be evicted from the apartment. This was communicated to us on the very same day that the payment was demanded—meaning we were suddenly asked to pay €8,000 upfront. When we tried to discuss this, Marina yelled at us to pay or we would be thrown out. On top of that, there was a complete lack of expectation management, manners, and communication. Miscalculations were made, random amounts of money were requested out of nowhere (once I was suddenly asked to pay an additional €360 that even Marina couldn’t explain, and another time I received a cost breakdown where over €2,500 had been “accidentally” overcharged). The office is run by very young staff, and it all comes across as highly unprofessional. Our time in Barcelona should have been wonderful, but this agency left us with a bitter aftertaste.

Very efficient agency with beautiful accommodations. The one we stayed in in Poble sec (Avigunda del Parel•el) was an ideal choice for us. It was at the same time a lovely and very functional place. Geweldig appartement! Niet goedkoop, maar dat is het nergens in Barcelona. Toplocatie op 200 meter van het strand, zeer ruim en heel schoon appartement in een goeie wijk. Centrum is 40 minuten lopen of met OV goed bereikbaar. Goeie service van Jefferson, was altijd snel bereikbaar en had goeie tips.

Me encantó, el dpto tiene todo lo necesario para 4 personas cómodamente. Incluso un sofá cama para una 5ta persona. De por ahí habría que agregar más ventiladores, para esta 5ta persona ya que en los dormitorios no hay aires acondicionados. Nosotros fuimos solo 4 así que estuvimos espectacular. El edificio es viejo pero el dpto reacondicionado. La administración con su atención, a través de Jefferson impecables, asistiéndonos en cualquier necesidad que surgió durante nuestra estadía. El alojamiento muy bien ubicado en barrio gótico, todo excelente! Volveré a alojarme con los chicos de “Loca Barcelona” me encantó!

Fantastic apartment centrally located. An oasis in the busy hot city. The huge balcony is quiet and a great place to end an evening of sightseeing with a glass of wine and a quiet conversation. Jefferson was an excellent host and check in was seamless and he responded promptly to texts during the stay. Two of the.five bedrooms are facing the street and are very noisy as a result. Bring earplugs. We had to hunt but salt and pepper in town which was inconvenient. But we spent 3 nights for a bacherolette and couldn’t be happier with our choice.

Tuve el placer de vivir en un piso gestionado/administrado por Loca durante 3 años. El piso estaba en perfectas condiciones y siempre respondieron de manera atenta y pronta cuando tuvimos alguna solicitud.

Smooth check-in process, Jefferson was our check-in agent and he was very helpful. Any issues during check-in were quickly resolved even though we checked-in quite late at night. He also provided some tips and recommendations of things to do in Barcelona. The apartment itself was very clean and spacious for 6 of us. The central AC is not the strongest, but additional fans were provided for each room to help circulate the cool air. There were enough fans for one for each bedroom, which was very necessary in the July heat. The location of the apartment is very close to transit, lots of food and shopping, and walkable to many tourist attractions in the Gothic Quarter, making it very easy to get around. We had a mechanical issue with one of the showers during our stay, but upon letting Jefferson know, a member of the LocaBCN team responded to the issue within a couple hours and we were able to continue using the shower for the rest of our stay without any issues. They fixed the problem very quickly so that it did not compromise the enjoyment of our stay. We were very impressed with the speed of response. Overall, we had a great experience here and I would consider staying here again.

This was our first time booking an AirBnB and we are very happy with the overall quality! Our host Jefferson was great as well. We did not have any problems at all. If you are a light sleeper, the bedroom with the balcony might not be ideal, as you can hear the busy streets, but this was not a problem for us and we still slept really well. It was really well cleaned and it had all the necessities we need.

We really enjoyed our stay! Everything was Perfect. The Metro isn‘t far away. It was really clean and the AC works really well. Unfortunately the Building is poorly soundproof but that didn‘t really disturb us. The Communication with Belen, who was responsible for our Check in, was really reliable and she is really friendly and lovely. She guranteed us an early Check in, wich was really convenient. Overall I can really recommend staying Here!

We stayed in a lovely 3 bed apartment with Loca Barcelona (via Booking.com). Great location and easy access to all the sights!! But beware - Barcelona is a huge city (bigger than Madrid) so we still did over 18k steps a day! 🤣 We had a problem with the washing machine (coins in the filter) which I reported at midnight and was fixed by Christina the following day! Great service - well done team at Loca Barcelona!

Avoid Loca Barcelona at all costs – worst rental experience ever We had an absolutely awful experience renting with Loca Barcelona. The apartment was without electricity for several days, meaning we couldn’t cook or even live normally. Every issue took weeks (or more) to be addressed – for example, lights that wouldn’t turn off stayed like that for ages. The staff, especially Monica, were incredibly unhelpful and rude. Messages went unanswered for weeks, sometimes even a full month. They told us cleaning was included, only to later take €250 from our deposit without explanation. We also asked for detailed bills to justify the absurdly high utility charges – they never provided anything. You pay massive agency fees for what is supposed to be a professional service, but what you actually get is total neglect and borderline scam behavior. Stayed at Loca Barcelona, which is just a couple minutes’ walk from the Sagrada Familia. The location couldn't be better if you're planning to explore that part of the city, it’s practically around the corner. The apartment was clean, modern, and had two comfy bedrooms, perfect for relaxing after a day out. Big shout-out to Luise, the concierge. She was super friendly and helped us get our bearings on that first day, even recommended a fantastic local restaurant that ended up being one of our favorite meals on the trip. Definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a stylish, well-located stay with great service.

This Airbnb was PERFECT, everything we could’ve asked for. So spacious, clean, lovely couch, great decor, the 2 bathrooms really make a difference. The host was great, we told him that we’re celebrating 30 years of marriage and he brought us champagne 🥹 The place is located very near the city center but in a quiet neighborhood. The apartment is very cute and cozy and for a great price compared to others we looked at. Plenty of space for a 4-person stay, one bedroom and a mountable sofa bed. The place is clean and has everything an apartment needs, and if you’re missing anything, the host will provide it.

Après 2 semaines infructueuses à chercher un logement pour mon fils qui va effectuer un stage à Barcelone , j’ai eu la chance de «tomber » sur Reda par téléphone chez Local Barcelona . La chambre pour laquelle j’appelais n’était plus disponible, Reda m’en a trouvé une autre de suite et en quelques échanges par Whatsap tout était réglé dans la journée ! Le sérieux d’une agence ne tient qu’à ses agents , disponibles, réactifs et aimables et Reda en est un sacré atout et je l’en remercie car à 5 semaines du début du stage on n’y croyait plus !

Jefferson was great!

I was a tenant in the Les Corts neighborhood for about 9 months with this company, and found their behavior unethical and extremely disappointing. My experience is that they will give you assurances of taking care of you, but all this will evaporate when you sign the contract and pay their agency fees. I rented a studio apartment, and was told the apartment had no known issues, other than a stain on the wall. That stain ended up being an infestation of black mold. They did very cheap, superficial fixes, and my future efforts to raise concerns on the black mold were ignored. In one case, I sent them pictures of black mold completely infesting a wall, and it took 2 months to receive a response. They were more concerned with nonsense vanity projects for the owner (who wanted to install a pointless shower door to get a higher rent price) than addressing important health issues. They additionally showcased the apartment as safe. Within a few weeks of moving in, I was assaulted by a known homeless man who had been camping out around the corner. He also tried breaking into my apartment. I had to deal with homeless individuals doing drugs and urinating outside the apartment. A second homeless person tried breaking into the apartment later on. Instead of trying to resolve the issue by asking the building owner to build a higher fence to keep out non-tenants, they said it was my problem to deal with and that they couldn't help (which is not true: why not advocate to the building owner to create a barrier which can keep out the homeless people?) Since they took a year's rent upfront, I was locked into a contract. They offered me one alternative - an apartment next to a loud bar, which looked even worse than what I got caught into. Finally, when it was time to go, the irony continued. I had the apartment professionally cleaned, yet they charged me 150 Euro for a cleaning fee. After everything I experienced, any ethical agency would have waived any fee like this to make things right, considering the homeless assault, break-in attempts, drug use, urination puddles and black mold... but no. They discounted a portion of the fee, as if that was the reasonable answer. They said they needed to clean it for the next tenant... which is VERY concerning, considering there was black mold that needed serious renovation to fix before a new tenant could move in! PLEASE BE CAREFUL!!! They will smile warmly before you sign the contract, but DON'T expect to be treated ethically afterwards. The best you can hope for is that they'll address their emails with "I hope this email finds you well", as they describe how they will do nothing to advocate for you, or fulfill their ethical obligations to advocate for your health and safety.

Solid experience staying here. Easy to find. We were greeted by the host, Jefferson, who showed us around & provided us with toiletries, kitchen appliances and dishwasher tablets. He was always friendly and easy to contact throughout the trip, providing us with a list of restaurants and activities etc. The spacious apartment has two balconies a large covertable sofa bed and good transport links. Loved this apartment it was the perfect base for our group to attend Primavera Sound festival across the weekend as it was close to the end of the tram line which meant crowds weren’t too bad. What a great little apartment tucked into an awesome street for the ultimate tapas experience and access to the downtown area! A 20 min walk to La Rambla and not much further to all the other must see attractions! This is a four story walk up.. so you’ll get plenty of opportunity to exercise all that delicious food away! Bed was comfortable… good water pressure in the shower and the kitchen had everything you need to make yourself a meal. There’s even an awesome grocery store on the same block. Belen made this a great experience from the start! My flight arrived early and she met me promptly to allow for an early check in! That was so nice! And even more.. she provided really amazing recommendations for places to eat and things to do in all price points! A great stay all around!

No recomano aquesta immobiliària. Han actuat de manera deshonesta i poc transparent.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience. I rented a property through this company as a workspace, paying €1900 per month. Unfortunately, my experience has been deeply disappointing. The property is located in an old building with extremely poor sound insulation – I can clearly hear my neighbor’s television through the walls. I reported this issue and was promised a solution, but after three months, I have yet to receive any follow-up or resolution. Additionally, the air conditioning unit causes significant noise disturbance. Every time I turn it on, within half an hour I have neighbors knocking on my door to complain. I raised this concern as well, and was told it would be addressed within a week. It’s now been two months, and again, nothing has been done. Overall, my experience with this company has been highly unsatisfactory. Communication is lacking, promises are not kept, and it feels like they simply don’t care about their tenants. I’m genuinely counting down the days until my lease ends in November, so I no longer have to deal with them.

One of the most important things for me was getting my deposit back — and I really appreciated that this agency returned it without any issues. In Spain, I’ve unfortunately had bad experiences with other agencies keeping my deposit unfairly, so this made a big difference to me. The apartment itself was good — around a 7.5 to 8 out of 10 — but what stood out the most was how helpful and professional the team was. Everyone I dealt with was kind and responsive, and especially Fidel, who really helped me with everything I needed. He was always available, supportive, and made the whole process easier. Honestly, Fidel is a 10 out of 10. Overall, it was a very positive experience, and I truly recommend this agency for their honesty and excellent customer service.

Hello, I was a tenant with Loca Barcelona for a period of 11 months. Overall, the agency is legitimate and very professional, especially when compared to some other agencies in Barcelona. Their service was excellent, and I was truly satisfied throughout my stay. The staff is efficient and responsive, and I would like to give a special mention to Marina, who was absolutely outstanding during the entire rental period — professional, kind, and always helpful. That said, it's important to note that their fees are higher than those of some other agencies in the city. So if you're willing to pay a bit more for peace of mind, transparency, and quality service, I highly recommend Loca Barcelona. Otherwise, there may be cheaper options, but I cannot speak for their ethics or reliability.

Buenos días. El lunes día 23 estuve en el despacho. El sr. que nos atendió lo hacia desde la puerta y lo primero que dijo, fue que le habláramos en español. Le pregunté si podíamos pasar para ver si tenían lo que necesitábamos. Nos dijo claramente que si no veía el contrato de trabajo no nos facilitaba ninguna información. Lastima han perdido una compra. Si no sirven para atender al público, que se dediquen a otra cosa

We left the apartment at 159 Paral-lel just a few minutes ago. We stayed for 5 days and it was truly an amazing experience here in Barcelona! First off, the apartment we stayed in was perfecto! The apartment manager who ushered us into the apartment was very professional, kind, courteous and very friendly! The place was super clean, the A/C is fantastic, the water pressure is great. There are no complaints from us but mostly praise! I would like to recommend that you get more Jefferson’s in your staff to manage this building! Thank you!!

We stayed in May at one of their apartments through Airbnb The apartment itself was great - fantastic location, lovely views, and well-equipped. But unfortunately, the stay was let down by key issues. We paid €30 for check-in on a national holiday but weren't let in until 6pm because cleaners were still cleaning, despite a 3pm check-in time. We also paid €30 for a travel cot within the requesting time frame, which was broken and unsafe. At first we were told nothing was wrong, but any parent who's used these before knows the difference between user error and a faulty cot. Only after pushing the issue was a replacement brought the next night - too late to use, as our baby was already asleep. We had to co-sleep 2 our of 3 nights. Communication was polite but reactive, and I had to go through Airbnb support to reach a fair outcome. This might have been a one-off, but guests (especially families) should be aware and double-check that everything is ready before arrival. They the replied with some poor excuses and lies on Airbnb then I replied It's disappointing that the host has chosen to misrepresent what happened rather than take responsibility. We arrived at the scheduled 3pm check-in time but couldn't access the apartment until 6pm (I have WhatsApp messages to prove this), as it was still being cleaned, while waiting with a baby. We also paid extra for a travel cot, but the one provided was broken and unsafe. Despite sending photos and explaining clearly, we were initially told there was nothing wrong. Any parent familiar with travel cots knows the difference between user error and a faulty product. The night before, the host sent me a picture of a new cot they said would be brought over, but when the staff arrived the next day, they turned up empty-handed. I had to chase again to get this resolved. Even during a phone call with the host's team (where another person was present), they spoke about me in Spanish, implying I didn't know what I was doing not realising that I understood everything. This was unprofessional and disrespectful. If I hadn't continually pushed, we wouldn't have even received a replacement cot, the host's own staff admitted during a call that they didn't think it would be possible. The replacement finally arrived too late to use, as our baby had already gone to sleep. Throughout, I remained polite but firm, the urgency was purely because we needed somewhere safe for our child to sleep. In the end, Airbnb fully reviewed the situation, agreed with my concerns, and issued compensation. It's unfortunate that instead of accepting responsibility for multiple failings, the host is now trying to shift blame onto the guest. I hope future guests, particularly families, have a better experience. Don't let them bully you.

El departamento de Barcelona estaba tal cual en el anuncio, pero me hubiera gustado saber que el aire acondicionado está disponible únicamente en el salón, ya que el anuncio pone que tiene A/C y uno espera que va a dormir cómodo en verano y resulta que la solución es dormir con las puertas abiertas para que entre el aire del salón. Así que tuvimos que sacrificar nuestra privacidad. Aunque nuestra agente Louise fue fantástica y nos ayudó con ventiladores. Ella nos ayudó en todo lo que pudo y es un amor. Me hubiera gustado ver más transparencia en el anuncio sobre el precio. Ya que uno piensa que va a pagar X cantidad y luego te dicen que tienes que pagar 30 € más por hacer check in el sábado y luego también hay que pagar un depósito de 300€ que no me parece mal pero insisto que deberían poner esta información de manera más visible. Por cierto, se tardaron más de lo normal en devolverme el depósito. Y la dirección de booking está equivocada, me guié con ese mapa y caminamos media hora en dirección incorrecta. También mejoraría las toallas porque estaban demasiado pequeñas.

Je ne peux que recommander Loca Barcelona qui dans un premier temps c est occupé de la location de mon appartement avec un grand sérieux sur la sélection des locataires et ensuite dans la vente de celui ci. Rapide , efficace et surtout un accompagnement pour l administratif pas toujours évident lorsque l on est pas du pays. Merci à toute l équipe .

I recently rented an apartment through Loca BCN. The apartment itself is nice and well-located, and they do have a good selection of rental options. However, the experience comes with some major downsides. The agency fee is extremely high, and they also require two months’ deposit — meaning you’re essentially paying four times the monthly rent just to move in. What’s even more disappointing is that despite the hefty upfront costs, the service after moving in is really lacking. If something breaks or you need assistance, their response time is painfully slow — it usually takes 1 to 2 weeks to resolve even basic issues. For the amount of money they charge, you would expect much faster and better support. Overall, not a great value considering the high costs and poor service.

Jefferson was quite helpful as he waited for us a late evening arrival and provided us very helpful information on what to see around in BCN. The apartment has a very nice location near to almost everything. We could walk in all the places we wanted to visit and a lot av food places nearby

I was having some issues finding a place to stay and told her all my stories, my challenges finding a place as a single mother of 2 who even with a job, a salary and some savings still had difficulties finding an apartment. Fanny could have just said to me that she doesnt have available apartments or that I don't fit in certain rules..but instead she went beyond her limits to help in different ways, giving me advices. She showed a lot of empathie..she put herself in my shoes..Very good customer service...I hope the company knows and realize they have a good element named Fanny with a lot of potential.. We were very satisfied with the accommodation. We stayed for three days in the three-room apartment during our conference week. It's conveniently located near the bus station coming from the airport, and the metro is just a one-minute walk away. The place was clean and peaceful. Cristina was always available to answer all our questions. Highly recommended!

After my departure, I was informed that the coffee machine wasn’t working, and as a result, part of our deposit was withheld. However, we never even touched the coffee machine, as none of us likes capsule coffee. This feels incredibly unfair. I will never book a flat in Barcelona again—only hotels, to avoid being deceived! After contacting the agency, they refused to give the money back. I can imagine that when you earn additional 50 Euro each time you rent a flat, that's a big amount yearly.

Le doy 1 estrella porque no puedo dar 0, la verdad, bastante mala la experiencia con Loca Barcelona, he ido presencialmente a la oficina en Barcelona el día de ayer por un alquiler de 5 meses, hable con una chica llamada Fanny (que apenas hablaba español) me pidio toda la documentación que se la envíe por Whatsapp, le envié todo, NIE, Pasaporte, Contrato de Trabajo Indefinido, Ultimas 3 Nóminas, Una carta de mi empresa (que por cierto es de Barcelona) en la que indica que trabajo 100% remoto, además de eso, le he enviado los pasajes de vuelta que tengo para Argentina (entiendo que deben demostrar la temporalidad que se estará en el apartamento) después de todo eso, no recibo mucha respuesta por parte de ella, luego hoy le envío un mensaje por Whatsapp a ver si han podido revisar todo, al minuto me llama y me dice: Hola he hablado con el propietario y no ha querido lo siento, a lo que yo le digo, ok no hay problema, podríamos ver otros apartamentos con otros propietarios? y me dice que no que lo siento sin dar ninguna explicación. La verdad una locura

Great experience with loca BCN for our Airbnb stay. Jefferson was incredibly helpful with our check in helping us settle into the apartment. We were provided with all the necessities, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and even coffee, tea, sugar etc. they will even refill if you run out. The space was very clean and tidy. I used Loca Barcelona to source an Apartment to rent in Barcelona and found them to be really helpful and really great communication - being I do not speak Spanish or Catalan there was an initial worry for me that something would be lost in translation - but Reda from their staff who dealt with me had better english than me. The location is great, right next to metro station exit. There are a lot of shops nearby, 10min walk is another lane for metro. The apartment that we have stayed was on the 3rd floor, there is small elevetor for luggage. Very good thing was that a person waited for us to give the keys and to provide some instructions. Note that if you want to check in after 19:00 you need to pay some additional tax. Our was 50€ as it was 22:30. There is a deposit 300€, they returned 5-10 days after check out. The apartment itself is big, in the kitchen there is everything you will need, there were towels and bathroom supplies. The WiFi is good, the beds are fine. The big MINUS from my side were the both bathrooms 1st in one of the bedrooms - the door is pure glass and you don’t have privacy. 2nd the shower is too small and it was not comfortable to shower at all. Other thing to consider is that the apartment is on main street and it is loud if you want to rest, probably it won’t be your option.

Had an absolute blast in Barcelona! The apartment was clean and stocked with essentials we needed during our 10 day trip. The WiFi signal was a bit slow and weak but as we spent our days outside enjoying the beautiful Barcelona weather, the poor WiFi was okay. Our check-in agent was great and the neighbourhood was very nice and walkable, plus metro right down the street made it easier to get to further destinations / home after long days of walking! Overall had a great time and would recommend!

Disappointing experience – not recommended I reached out to this agency to rent out my flat for a temporary stay. After two days, a staff member named Amandine finally got in touch, but her communication was vague and slow. Since I opted for the basic plan (where the tenant pays the fee), she told me my asking price was too high and that they wouldn't manage the listing. Just two days later, I successfully rented it out at exactly my asking price through another platform. Given all the positive reviews, I expected much better service and professionalism.

Even though we chose a period when we knew it would be busy (Easter holidays), we had no problem with the availability of Loca Bcn. We found the place very easily, it is a short walk from the airport bus station. Our host, Louise, was already there, showed us the apartment and answered all our questions. The apartment was very bright, clean and had absolutely everything we needed. The street/neighborhood is very well connected with means of transport, but also within walking distance of many points of interest. We definitely recommend this place, and when we return to Barcelona we will choose it again.

We had such a lovely time at the apartment in Poble-sec. Perfect location - quiet area with lots of nice cafés and restaurants within walking distance. The apartment was super clean, cozy and comfortable. Luise gave us a warm welcome and we felt at home from the first second.

I stayed at an apartment from LOCA BARCELONA during my April trip, and it was such a great experience! The room was super spacious—perfect for a group of friends or a family. The kitchen came fully equipped, and having a washing machine and dryer was a big bonus, especially for a longer stay. The location was also fantastic—very close to the Metro, so getting around Barcelona was a breeze. Right downstairs, there was a bakery and a coffee shop, which made grabbing breakfast so easy. Expérience parfaite. L'appartement est très bien, avec tout le nécessaire pour passer un super séjour. Deux chambres grandes et aux calmes, et deux plus petites du côté de la place (un peu moins au calme mais très bien pour un séjour dans le cœur d'une ville). L'emplacement est grandiose, tout prêt des restaurants, dans le magnifique quartier Gothic. Et pour finir, les collaborateurs-trices de l'agence Loca Barcelona sont serviables et arrangeant. Gorgeous house! The location is amazing as well, walking distance or easy commute to everything in Barcelona. The only 2 slight issues were, the street was a little bit loud at nights, was not a big issue. And the main bedroom bed could be more comfortable. The door lock was tiny bit problematic, but our lovely host Belén came all the way to help us even though it was Easter holiday! She helped us with everything and was very positive, thanks again Belén!

Die Lage der Wohnung, der Checkin durch Luise und auch die Infos von Luise waren super!!! Die Wohnung selbst könnte besser ausgestattet sein: die Küchenausstattung eignet sich nicht wirklich zum Kochen, nur 2 (unterschiedliche;-)) Weingläser in einer Wohnung für 4 Personen, etwas liebloser, sehr zusammengesammelte Einrichtung. Für den Preis sollte man mehr erwarten können.

Ci siamo trovati talmente bene nell’appartamento che ci è dispiaciuto lasciarlo. L’unica nota negativa è il rumore dei bidoni della spazzatura posti sotto la camera principale.

Après une expérience vraiment désastreuse auprès d’un concurrent (SH Barcelona) j'apprécie d’autant le suivi attentif, l’amabilité et la réactivité apportée à mes demandes. Loca Barcelona est une agence réactive, efficace et rigoureuse. Je recommande chaleureusement 👍🏻🔥

We had a very pleasant stay and can highly recommend the apartment. The area is good and the apartment is located closely to restaurants, grocery stores and public transit. The check-in was seamless and Ana from Loca Bcn was amazing. She was super nice, gave good recommendations and was very responsive. The apartment was very clean and matches the photos as well as the descriptions. The facilities were very good, clean and more than adequate. On request, we were able to ask for more shampoo, etc. and it was there the next day. Only drawback is that the apartment is very noisy and sometimes you had the feeling the neighbors were standing in the room. But overall, we are very happy with our stay and experience.

Sehr schöne klassische spanische Wohnung. Relativ zentral gelegen, Ana hat uns vor Ort in Empfang genommen, uns die Wohnung gezeigt und Tipps für Barcelona gegeben. War alles super, gerne wieder.

Loca Barcelona appartment on Paral-lel 159 was great for 4 guests. Clean and on perfect location if you are staying close to Placa d'Espanya. Host Ana was super friendly and welcoming at our arrival! Recommendations!

I had a very disappointing experience. I was charged around 220-265€ for water bills in just months (September-January), even though I lived alone and was away for part of that time. I suspected the cause was a faulty water heater, but they denied. I find it unacceptable to be held responsible for such unreasonable costs. Unfortunately, I cant’ recommend this agency based on my experience.

This property was amazing! It was super clean, beautifully decorated and they even had a cleaning kit for us to use as needed. The location was perfect for sight seeing and getting to the bus/train. Ana was a delight! She gave a ton of amazing dining recommendations and helped us select the right vibes for our night out as well. Would definitely stay here again!!! Thank you Ana and team!

Je recommande vivement Garance ! Elle m’a trouvé un appartement à Barcelone en moins d’une semaine, ce qui relevait du miracle vu le marché actuel. L'appartement est neuf, parfaitement situé, et correspond exactement à ce que je recherchais. Garance est à la fois souriante, ultra professionnelle et très arrangeante. Elle a su être réactive, à l’écoute, et rendre ce processus fluide et agréable. Un vrai plaisir de passer par elle !

Je recommande vivement cette agence ! J’ai pu bénéficier d’un super accompagnement de la part de Garance notamment qui n’a pas hésité à me proposer une variété de logements en fonction des critères que je lui avais fournis !

Loca Barcelona and Garance in particular have been very helpful on dealing with the extreme situation I was in and resolved the problems very well 👍🙂 Additionally, they were very proactive in managing other various issues such as maintenance (e.g. boiler breaking down) and were very professional. I recommend them highly :-)

Ein sehr schönes und sauberes Apartment in der nähe der Sagrada Familia. Luise war für uns zuständig und man konnte sie immer sehr gut erreichen. Kann das Apartment aufjedenfall weiterempfehlen.
