We stayed here for my step dads 70th birthday. Jeume the owner is every helpful and friendly always on hand if an when needed everything we asked jeume was sorted for us promptly, we had a lovely time in the villa, its plenty big enough even though there was 28 of us. A car is recommended as arenys de mar centre is approx 25 min walk which is also where the train station is which you can get to Barcelona amongst other locations for approx 8 euros return, jeume has a list of things you can hire like e-bikes, quad bikes etc from a local vendor reasonably priced i thought to. On the whole we had a lovely stay, the pool area was a lovely social space the villa has abig portable blue tooth speaker, table tennis and darts board, would recommend staying here, Thank you jeume for being fantastic host. Jaume is the best host! He was so helpful and hospitable. The villa is beautiful, the facilities are in excellent condition and we had an unforgettable week. The pizza oven and bbq were a nice touch

We celebrated a milestone birthday at the villa with a group of 29 and had the most incredible week imaginable. The villa was absolutely perfect for our large group — spacious, beautifully maintained, and fully equipped with everything we could possibly need. Jaume was outstanding — warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. He gave us fantastic recommendations for local restaurants, shops, and beaches, making our stay even more enjoyable. He stopped by most days to check in, but it never felt intrusive — more like a friend dropping in to say hello. One of the highlights was having local chefs come in one evening to cook a paella for us — such a memorable and special experience. We honestly couldn’t fault a single thing. 10/10 — we’d recommend this villa to anyone looking for a magical group getaway.

When our original Airbnb cancelled just two weeks before our trip, we thought our long-awaited family holiday was ruined. Trying to find a new place that could accommodate all 21 of us and still fit our wishlist (without blowing the budget!) felt impossible. Then we found Villa Horta Del Pilar – and it not only saved the day, it completely exceeded our expectations. We had the most amazing week together and created memories in a home from home that’ll stay with us forever. A huge thank you to host Jaume who couldn’t have been more welcoming, warm or helpful. From the moment we booked, he was quick to answer our (many!) questions, and made sure everything we’d asked for was ready when we arrived – including the brilliant ice-cold beer dispenser, which went down very well! He also gifted us delicious home-grown oranges and popped by daily to check we had everything we needed. He also recommended a brilliant local winery, which we visited on our last day – the perfect end to the trip. Jaume also took the time to show us the fascinating history of the villa, including the beautiful hidden chapel and the wine cellar. On my son’s second birthday, he took us to feed the horses at the nearby farm which the kids loved. They also enjoyed feeding our holiday companion, Misha the cat, who quickly became part of the gang! The villa itself is spacious, well-equipped and perfect for large groups. It has three fridges, two dishwashers, a handy laundry room and a fab BBQ area, where we cooked most of our meals. The kitchen is a little on the small side, but with such a lovely outdoor dining space, we loved cooking on the bbq and dining outside under the festoon lights and stars. The pool is a great size, safely fenced off for peace of mind with little ones and there’s even an outdoor toilet, showers and fridge for poolside convenience. We visited in late May so didn’t miss the air con and the villa stayed comfortably cool. The nearby beach is about a 15–20 minute walk (or a short drive), down a sandy path which made pushing buggies a bit of a challenge. That said, we were more than happy to spend our days relaxing by the pool and soaking up the views. We only popped into Arenys de Mar a couple of times for shopping, but Jaume gave us loads of local recommendations for places to eat and explore if you’ve got a car and want to venture out. Thank you Villa Horta del Pilar – you gave us the most unforgettable family holiday. We’ll be talking about our stay for years to come.

Alquilamos la casa un fin de semana para hacer team building con la empresa y fue una experiencia de 10. La casa es espectacular, está perfectamente equipada y Jaume estuvo muy atento a que no faltara de nada. La recomiendo sin lugar a duda.

Séjour exceptionnel à la villa ! La maison est magnifique et confortable pour un grand groupe. Jaume est adorable, accueillant, et disponible, merci encore à lui. Malgré la période (février), nous avons pu profiter de l'extérieur qui est aussi très agréable. La villa est située dans un endroit calme, et proche de la mer (1km environ). Nous nous sommes rendus plusieurs fois à Barcelone grâce au train direct en environ 45min. Nous sommes tous ravis de notre séjour, et espérons revenir!

Nous avons passé une semaine formidable à la Villa Horti pour cette fin d année. Nous étions un groupe de 28 dont 13 enfants, la maison était parfaite pour nous. Notre hôte Jaume était adorable et toujours disponible ! Je conseille fortement.

Ons verblijf bij Horta del Pilar was in één woord fantastisch. Vanaf het eerste contactmoment werd ik vriendelijk en professioneel geholpen. De communicatie van Jaume was helder en snel, wat zorgde voor een soepele voorbereiding op ons verblijf. We waren met ongeveer 30 vrienden en we hielden van diverse activiteiten zoals een wijnproeverij, city trip naar Barcelona, hiken in Montserrat of Ferreta klimmen. De accommodatie is ideaal gelegen om het allemaal te doen en Jaume bied ook hulp aan in de vorm van contacten en website voor de diverse activiteiten die er te doen zijn. Of je nu houdt van ontspanning of juist op zoek bent naar avontuur, er is voor ieder wat wils. Wat betreft de accommodatie kan ik alleen maar lof uitspreken. De villa en kamers waren schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. De rust en de prachtige omgeving maakten het verblijf compleet. Het zwembad, de BBQ's, steenoven, biertap, grote tuin, buitentafels en dichtbij het strand zorgt echt voor een ideale locatie voor een vrienden verblijf. Kortom, Horta del Pilar biedt niet alleen een prachtige locatie, maar ook een uitstekende service op elk vlak. Een absolute aanrader voor wie op zoek is naar een onvergetelijke ervaring!

We had a fantastic week here at villa horta del pilar. 6 families cohabited in this beautiful house without feeling cramped. The children and adults all loved the pool and house amenities. Our host Jaume was very welcoming and always willing to provide advice about the local area and arrange extra services. We enjoyed meals cooked for us 2 nights at the villa, would highly recommend the sommelier who provided wine tasting and we visited the local horses at no cost. We spent most of our time at the villa however also explored the local beach and Cala de Sant Francesc approx 40 mins away, which was beautiful. We would not hesitate to recommend the villa. Lots of wonderful memories made.

Echt zo’n fantastische week hier gehad! Een prachtige villa waar we helemaal tot rust zijn gekomen! Jaumé is heel behulpzaam met alles in en rondom het huis en het aanbevelen van activiteiten en heeft deze ervaring onvergetelijk gemaakt.

We hebben een fantastische week gehad in deze villa! De gastheer zorgde voor een warm welkom en gaf ons geweldige tips over de omgeving. Hij organiseerde ook een wijnproeverij en een avond met paella die ze ter plekke bereidde, wat echt een hoogtepunt was. De ligging is ideaal, op korte loopafstand van zowel het strand als een leuke nachtclub. Ondanks dat we normaal gesproken elke zomer een nieuwe plek kiezen, willen we zeker terug naar deze villa. Echt een aanrader voor een ontspannen en compleet verzorgde vakantie!

This place is amazing. We had such a nice week in the villa. The host was super nice to us, gave us great tips and organized a wine tasting and live paella cooking night for us. The beach is walking distance as well as the local night club. We said we never want to go to the same place every summer but we are definitely coming back to this amazing villa!!

One of the best holiday experiences of my life! The villa is so beautiful (inside and out) with every amenity you can think of. It is conveniently located, being an easy walk to the lovely town centre, the beach, as well as several other fun activity locations. Jaume is a phenomenal host - respecting our privacy but being on-hand to ensure everything runs smoothly. Could not recommend this place enough!

I stayed here with a big group of friends for my birthday and we had the best time! Everyone's already saying it but Jaume is an amazing host and a lovely guy! He helped us with many things during our stay - recommendations, beer on tap, organising caterers and even brought us a guitar when the speakers stopped working! The villa itself is also really well equipped for groups, and yeah go and stay here if you like having great holidays.

I celebrated my 30th birthday in villa Horta de Pilar. It was a 5-day getaway with all my friends (27 people) and we had the most wonderful time ever!!!! Could not recommend this place more. The villa itself is very spacious. Even with so many people, we never felt the place was crowded. Inside the rooms were nice and big and from the outside, with the pool view, it just looks stunning. 👌 The biggest shout-out needs to go to Jaume - the owner of the villa. He not only accommodated me with every single request I threw his way but is also very, very kind. All my friends and I had an unbelievable time at the villa, 5 stars are not even enough!

A great place for families and friends ! We stayed there for almost two weeks in the first half of octobre 2023 -- 8 adults / 6 children, 1,3,5,8,12,16 years old. It was just perfect for everybody : A large, very clean pool, absolutely everything you might need in the kitchen, plenty of dishes and all other things, two dish-machines, two washing-machines, three fridges, good place on one of the 4 terraces to dry your clothing, plenty of all kinds of toys for the kids. Nice and modern bathrooms - even with sufficient toilettpaper.The villa is large enough, so that everybody could find a quiet place if needed. And so is the huge garden - we were allowed to take ripe tomatoes and other fruits like lemon, unluckily the oranges were not ripe yet. Not to forget the grill place, even with an oven to create your own pizza. At night everthing was illuminated, which created a nice atmosphere - no bothering noise from any streets, the not so far away highway you do not notice. Since we had two weeks of beautiful weather ( more than 25 °) in octobre we went swimming in sufficient warm water every day and all together had a wonderful time. Jaume was our friendly, always helpfull host who gave us a feeling of hospitality and security.Thank you Jaume ! We highly recommend this Villa Horta and hope to come back one day.

This was the absolute perfect place to chill out with a large group of friends. Jaume is a lovely and caring host, truly amazing! Villa is easy to access, beach is nearby, everything is just perfect for what you want from a summer holiday i'd say!

Jaume a hecho una estancia de fin de semana magnífico, empezó con lluvias y acabo con muchos chapuzones en la piscina. Una casa que no le falta detalle, esta impecable, es preciosa, con mucho espacio, la piscina limpia, hay huerto con cosecha que pudimos recolectar y disfrutarla, y por ultimo la excursión a la Hípica, todo de 100%. Las 7 familias hemos disfrutado mucho. Gracias Jaume por estar ahí pendiente de todas nuestras necesidades. Ha sido una experiencia inolvidable.

Eine traumhafte Woche mit unseren Freunden und Kindern haben wir im Juli in der Villa Horta del Pilar verbracht. Wir sind immer noch ganz begeistert von dem wunderschönen Gelände, dem großen Gebäude und dem tollen und kindersicheren Poolbereich. Ganz besonders gefiel uns auch die herzliche Betreuung durch den Gastgeber, der uns flexibel und zuverlässig vor und während des Urlaubs mit Rat und Tat zur Verfügung stand. Er übernahm die Buchung von Tennisplätzen, die Organisation des Caterings, gab uns hilfreiche Tipps zu Ausflügen, begleitete uns bei der Erkunden der näheren Umgebung und ließ uns sein leckeres Gemüse ernten und verspeisen ;-) Vielen Dank nochmal auf diesem Wege, lieber Jaume - Wir erinnern uns voller Freude an die Zeit in der Villa zurück und kommen gerne wieder!

Vi var seks familier med totalt 22 personer (12 barn og 10 voksne) som ferierte i villaen den første uken i juli. Vi var veldig fornøyde med villaen og planleggingen og samarbeidet med verten Jaume. Vi hadde fått stedet anbefalt av venner og alt stemte. Huset var ryddig og rent og selv om bussen var litt tidligere fremme enn innsjekkstidspunktet, fikk vi slå oss ned og ta i bruk bassenget. Hagen, med badmintonnett og bordtennisspillet ble mye brukt av tenåringene og de yngste barna elsket bassenget. Det var praktisk å bestille og få levert drikkevarer på forhånd og veldig kjekt med egen leiebil, ellers hadde handling vært en utfordring. Og Jaume var en super vert for oss! Vi var aldri i tvil om at han ville hjelpe oss med alle utfordringer som måtte oppstå. Heldigvis var det ikke så mye. Og til slutt: vi elsket å plukke og spise ferske, solmodne tomater i kjøkkenhagen!

We had a wonderful week at Villa Horta del Pilar! A beautiful old building that was extremely comfortable (and interesting!). The grounds were beautifully maintained, with great facilities and a wonderful wood oven. The best part was the ever helpful, friendly host l, Jaume, who made our visit easy and welcoming.

Casa reservada para 31 personas y la experiencia 100% recomendable y positiva. Hay 2 accesos a la finca y yo recomiendo la pista que es algo más larga pero algo mejor para transitar con vehículos. La casa es enorme,tranquila con piscina grande,barbacoa con horno de leña... dispone de todo lo necesario para pasar de unos días de disfrute y relax. Muy buena atención por parte de Jaume que es el mejor anfitrión que puede tener la casa y siempre está atento a cualquier aviso. Se nota cuando una persona se siente a gusto con su trabajo en la manera en la que te atiende y te explica todos los detalles. Muchas gracias por todo y si toca volver a pernoctar en una casa por esa zona la elección la tenemos clarisima: ¡ VILLA HORTA DEL PILAR !

Wir haben im Mai 23 acht Tage in der Villa Horta del Pilar verbracht. Die Villa ist fantastisch und perfekt ausgestattet. In der Küche gab es alles, was man brauchen könnte und es gab insgesamt drei Kühlschränke. Alle Betten waren bezogen und das gesamte Haus war sehr sauber. Für nachts gibt es im Garten Lichterketten und auch einen schönen Grill. Zu beachten ist, dass das Meer doch ein bisschen weiter weg ist, etwa zwanzig Minuten zu Fuss, und zum Bahnhof nach Arenys de Mar sind es etwa dreißig bis vierzig Minuten zu Fuss. Wenn man kein Auto hat, ist es also sinnvoll, gute Schuhe mitzunehmen. Der Besitzer des Hauses Jaume war super nett und hat unsere Koffer bei der An- und Abreise zum Haus und zum Bahnhof gefahren, sowie uns beim Transport unserer Einkäufe zum Haus geholfen. Er war total hilfsbereit, hat uns bei allem Möglichen unterstützt und ist immer mal wieder vorbeigekommen, um nach dem Rechten zu sehen, wofür wir als 23 Jugendliche doch recht dankbar waren. Er war total entspannt und freundlich und hat uns auch Empfehlungen für Restaurants etc im Umkreis gegeben, bzw. uns bei einer Grossreservierung geholfen. Er hat uns sogar erlaubt, mit ihm die Nachbarn zu besuchen, die Hunde, Pferde und Hühner haben. Wir haben eine fantastische Zeit in der Villa verbracht und sie sehr genossen. Auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen!!

In March, we organized a BMX training camp in Spain and chose to live in the Horta del Pilar villa. Everything was very good and special thanks to the host Jaume for his hospitality and positive attitude. We plan to return there next year as well.

Ha sido una de las experiencias más gratas que he tenido en una casa. Lo tiene todo: amplitud, buenas camas, chimenea, la playa a 15 minutos, el pueblo cerca pero a la vez te encuentras cómodo por el tamaño de la finca etc. Lástima no haber podido disfrutar de la piscina. el dueño un sol, y los limones y naranjas fantásticos

We stayed at Villa Horta del Pilar for a week in early September 22 and celebrated our wedding with family and friends in the garden. The villa is just perfect and corresponds to the photos and description. The villa offers everything you could want for young and old. It is a bit outside, but still you can get everywhere quickly. To the beach it is only about 20 minutes walk and to the center about 30 minutes. The outdoor area with the large shaded garden is beautiful and cozy. The large pool is just fantastic. Everything was very clean and the beds are very comfortable. The villa is well equipped with everything you need. Jaume, the host, has been fantastic from the beginning. He is the soul of the villa and does his job with so much heart and passion. If we needed something or something needed to be fixed, he was there immediately. He supported us also so much in the planning and implementation of our wedding and made it to an unforgettable week and wedding for us. The communication was great from the beginning and Jaume gave us a lot of tips and helped out himself. On the day of the wedding he really wanted to support us and did so much for us! Thank you for that. We found the perfect place with the villa and a new friend with Jaume! We can recommend the villa 100% and are already looking forward to coming back with our families and friends. Kaddy & Daniel

We had an amazing family holiday here, made all the more amazing by the friendly, kind, helpful and relaxed Jaume. He catered for everything we needed and made sure we were all happy, visiting us almost every day (unobtrusively) to take the rubbish away, replenish us with what we needed and offering local advice. The grounds were beautiful, the pool massive and the outdoor bbq, pizza oven and dining area made the holiday. The villa itself was a beautiful building although the interior decor was fairly basic. But you spend hardly any time indoors and it was great value for money. The entire family (24 of us) were very happy with what we paid for and would certainly recommend it and Jaume as a host.

I wanted to write this review to say what a wonderful property this is! We were a group of 4 families (all ages from 11 - 17) who came over the Easter holidays 2022. This place was fantastic spotlessly clean and and everything we could of wished for. Even though we have some rainy days there was more than enough to keep everyone occupied. Jaume is such a lovely guy and everything we needed was catered for - even down to talking to the online shop delivery man for us! Who were Mercadona what a great service theses were and would recommend as we didn’t hire a car. We can’t wait to visit again! We miss the lovely oranges everyday...

Horta del Pilar is a beautiful colonial style villa with extensive and well-kept gardens, a swimming pool (large but cold in early April!), seating areas, bbq area, outdoor showers, table tennis table (x2), volleyball net and this is just the outside. Inside the rooms are large, clean and have multiple lounge areas, a games room and two large balconies. The price was very good and the villa was even better than the photos looked like. Our host Jaume made our stay very easy and enjoyable by helping us to sort out catering at the villa, transfers to/from the airport and offered to book activities at the beach like paddle boarding and wine tours. He was very friendly and gave us lots of local recommendations for supermarkets, restaurants, bars and lots of other local attractions. The catering booked by Jaume was perfect – a multi-course tapas on our Friday evening, then a ‘Brunch with Energy’ on Saturday and Sunday morning (including sandwiches, croissants, doughnuts, fruit salad, fruit juice, and lots of other items) was perfect for our large group and saved a few trips to the supermarket in the town! The villa has its own private drive and from the gate it was 20 minutes’ down a quiet sandy lane to the local beach which had football goals and volleyball courts. It was then another 20 minutes to walk into Arenys de Mar which was a nice town with all the facilities you need, including a train station where it is a 50 minute train into Barcelona. The town wasn’t touristy and was more a local town, which was nice but still catered for and were very friendly to our large group of 22. I really couldn’t recommend staying here at Horta del Pilar more – we hope to come back one day! Thanks Jaume!

We had a fantastic time at the villa and we were amazed how good value it is. The house and the grounds are beautiful, even in March. Jaume was so helpful and made everything really easy for us. All the facilities and items you need are provided (lots of glasses and crockery and cutlery etc.). Our highlight was the private wine tasting by the sommelier, who was very knowledgeable and friendly. The villa is a short walk to the local town (which has nice beaches, good bars, friendly people and great transport links to Barcelona).

A wonderfull house, a perfect location, a heavenly garden, a friendly and helpfull host and an amazing weather for the season. Here is the recipe for fantastic vacation with your friends.

Espectacular fin de semana!! Fuimos desde Oropesa de Toledo a celebrar un cumpleaños sorpresa y todo fue genial: la casa maravillosa, el jardín, el entorno,...Jaume encantador y servicial. Puedo decir que ni mi amigo ni nosotros olvidaramos su 50 cumpleaños en un sitio tan especial!

Estupenda casa su entorno y espacios para disfrutarla, no falta de nada. Super finde aquí, y paseo desde la casa al mar andando sin pasar por la carretera. Lo tiene todo, muy bien

Molt, molt recomanable!!! No tenim més que paraules d'agraïment. La casa, els jardins, la piscina,... Tot està en perfectes condicions i és preciós. La tranquil·litat és un altre aspecte a destacar. El propietari súper atent, molt professional i millor persona. En tot moment ens va donar facilitats. Repetirem segur!!!!

De las peores reservas que he realizado. Una experiencia que no quiero recordar en cuanto a servicio, instalaciones y trato. No recomendado. Existen muchísimas mejores estancias que en este lugar, una auténtica decepción.

Pasamos fin de año bajo las restricciones establecidas supervisadas en todo momento por Jaume, mostrándose en todo momento muy servicial, dejando intimidad y facilitando la reserva y late check out. Casa ideal para grupos y celebraciones, los exteriores de la casa son fantásticos, con muchas posibilidades para todo tipo de evento. Casa muy amplia aunque faltaria alguna mejora en el mobiliario, pero no falta de nada. Buena distribución, amplias habitaciones y baños. Todo fue excelente y seguro que repetiremos cuando las circunstancias permitan reuniones más amplias y poder aprovechar el exterior en época de verano.

Had a wonderful stay here with my family. Loved the Villa, had everything we could need and more for our stay, kids loved the pool, could not get them out of it. Good location too, great for exploring the beautiful coast & loved the atmosphere around Arneys De Mar also. Above all this is the helpfulness and friendliness of Jaume, went above and beyond in his efforts to make sure we enjoyed our stay. He was always available to answer questions and provide copious information on attractions/activities/trips. You can tell he takes great pride in his role as a host.

Villa horta del pilar is a great place close to the beach with everything a bigger group might need for a holiday in Spain. The house is huge and has loads of nice historical features. The outdoor space is a chapter of its own, with a great pool area, where you - for example - can play table tennis and volleyball, and a beautiful garden leading up to the dining area with a big outdoor-kitchen. We hade bbq’s almost every night and it was a lovely setting for dining outdoors. The host, Jaume, is absolutely flawless. He has been helpful with every little question before, during and after our stay. During our stay, Jaume arranged some great local catering for our group of almost 30 people, and really went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. So to sum it all up. All our guests were truly impressed with the stay and Jaumes hospitality. I highly recommend Horta del pilar and SunRent. Thanks Jaume!

I really recommend this place for groups of friends, families, work outings (where fast wifi is not critical). We used the villa for a work trainings-week. It was great for it as there was plenty of space for break-outs and in the evenings we could connect with each other over a BBQ or during table tennis/volleybal. The place is ~15min walk from the beach, there are a few bars/restaurants there. It's a bit farther from the city center / supermarket, so definitely recommend to bring a car. The host, Jaume, is very helpful and friendly. He helped us with reservations for dinner and showed us the hidden chapel while sharing some nice stories about the villa :)

Great family holiday home. Lots of space for everyone. Well kept considering the age of the building and its modern use. Great pool. No AC so be prepared.

Excelente casa para disfrutar momentos especiales en compañía de la gente que más quieres. Es grande, amplia, soleada, con exteriores magníficos. El interior es grande y permite tener diferentes ambientes. Jaume es una persona cercana y muy agradable. Nuestra familia lleva años alquilándola en las mismas fechas y para nosotros es muy especial.

Lovely villa, sleeps a ridiculous amount of people. Pool is fab and the garden has a huge eating area with barbecue etc. Road to villa is pretty poor and if it rains it's almost inaccessible. You'll struggle to get a taxi to and from as the roads wash away leaving a very bumpy surface. Town is in walking distance, around 30mins.

We had the pleasure of staying at Horta Pilar for one of my friends Birthday's and we could not have been happier. The villa is majestic, even better than the pictures, and it easily accommodated our large group of 20 people. The outside spaces (pool area, BBQ area & Gardens) are beautiful with some really clever and useful touches than made it perfect for entertaining. Jaume is an amazing host and not only gave us a full tour of the villa, including information about it's interesting history, and was always on had to help us with any questions about the local area and additional services that can be provided. The location of the villa is fantastic, walking distance from a lovely beach and the charming village of Arenys de Mar. I very much hope to have the opportunity to stay at Horta Del Pilar again!

Very nice and silent place. We spend some days here and it was amazing.

Super lieu avec grand terrain. Retiré très calme. Convient pour grande famille ( 30 places)
