In mei in contact gekomen met Jelena voor een appartement in Valencia. Het contact was erg fijn, ze spreekt namelijk goed Nederlands, waardoor het contact makkelijker is. Vervolgens hebben we een videocall met haar gehad, zodat we het appartement konden zien. Inmiddels zitten we er al een paar weekjes in en is het precies zoals op de foto's! De eerste dag toen we aankwamen was er wat aan de hand met de douche, door de vorige huurders. Dit hebben ze binnen 2 dagen opgelost en ze kwamen zelfs voor het ongemak nog een heerlijke pan paella brengen! Ik zou het dus zeker aanraden om via At Home in Valencia een appartement te huren, want je krijgt naast een mooi appartement ook een super goede service.

Jelena is the best real estate agent. After we had problems with the previous contact person who scammed us, Jelena helped us directly. She spoke to us on the phone and was able to find an apartment for me and my flatmate within a day. Everything was serious and professional. The night we arrived, she was waiting for us and we were able to pick up the keys to the apartment from her. She made sure that the cab driver would help us with our luggage and came to us the next day to sort out the remaining papers. She also helped us to file a complaint with the police. She acted as an interpreter and made sure that we could arrange a lot of things. Maria buduje świetny kontakt z klientem, co jest szczególnie ważne kiedy współpraca przebiega na odległość (z innego kraju). Pomaga nam w załatwianiu wszystkich kwestii formalnych, organizowaniu wymaganych dokumentów. Zawsze możemy na nią liczyć, nawet w najtrudniejszych i nieprzewidzianych momentach.

Jelena is simply the best!! Without Jelena our dream of an apartment near the beach in Valencia would never have come true. With great patience, she repeatedly contacted and viewed new properties for us. She was always honest and pointed out any shortcomings. We could rely on her judgment 100%. Since our Spanish is very poor, we needed a real estate agent with whom we could communicate in English or Dutch. There are certainly not many agents in Valencia who are fluent in Spanish, English and Dutch like Jelena. She carried out the negotiations and the purchase transaction with the notary perfectly for us and found a fair arrangement with the seller's agent. Even after the purchase, Jelena organizes the renovation, discusses all questions with us and helps with the registration for electricity, water and internet. She even makes sure that our apartment will be cleaned before our next stay. This is really much more than you can expect! At Home in Valencia is a real estate agency I highly recommend if you're coming to Valencia ! I'm a student who come with one friend for an erasmus program and we had some issues with an owner and his apartment when we arrived in Valencia. (insanitary apartment) So we call this agency and Jelena helped us to resolve the problems about the contract and the deposit with our old owner and find us a great apartment in less than one week. To conclude, Jelena helped us to leave the unsanitary apartment without to lose the amount of money we gave to the non-honest owner, and she helped us to get quickly (less than one week) the new apartment she proposed to us. What can I say? On the scale 1 to 5 I have to give... 6! I would have not imagined what was in front of my as a non-EUR earning foreigner buying a flat with a mortgage in Spain. Me dice que me llama en breve y confirma día y hora y después de semana y pico aún sigo esperando. Poca seriedad. Creo que voy a descartar visitar ese piso así que ellos se lo pierden. O mejor aún, cómo sé donde está, intentaré contactar con la propietaria. Así me ahorro esa comisión desorbitada por no hacer prácticamente nada de nada. Pd. Y encima mentirosos por su respuesta!!!
