We were really worried about the whole process of selling up in the UK, and moving lock, stock and barrel to the Costa Blanca. Luckily we came across Anthony and Sally Bloom. We moved over in November and Sally found us a great, cheap apartment to rent in the centre of Moraira. This was our base whilst we searched for our forever home. We looked at about 40 villas, and Sally found us the perfect villa in Moraira. Anthony ferried us to and from villas, offering invaluable advice along the way. Everything they advised was accurate and the correct choice. I carried our 100's of hours of online research but still found the Blooms advice to be correct. This is at no cost to the buyer, they claim part of the vendors fees. The Process of Buying A Second Home Made Simple Working with Anthony and Sally has been a true pleasure. In Oct 2020 we made the huge step into unknown waters starting the process of purchasing our dream villa in Moraira. Unable to travel to Spain due to COVID restrictions this made the already daunting task a worry ! However Anthony and Sally came into their own and excelled with their expertise and network of associates to remove these worries. Everyone one that was recommended proved to be the perfect partner and did not let us or them down. Not being able to view the villa and knowing we had now entered into a purchase contract Anthony made sure all our requests where carried out.From providing videos of the villa and surrounding areas detailed condition review of the villa which re-assured us we made the right decision. Considering the present climate we completed from start to finish in 4 months which we can honestly say was seamless and almost stress free. Even on completion day which unfortunately we could not be there to collect keys. We came across Anthony and Sally by chance, how lucky were we!. We visited Moraira during February & early March 2020 viewing properties with Anthony's assistance, he soon realised the type of property we were after and the location. viewing with him was relaxed but he does have a compass which he produces when the selling agents tell the property face south when it actually faces north west!!. We decided on a property and with Sally's help managed to get the property at a price that suited our budget, we reserved on 10th March and returned to the UK. We all know what happened next Covid - 19. .Well that really set the cat amongst the pigeons what happens now?? After many calls / E mails between UK and Spain Sally's support, calm reasoning and professionalism shone through and we finally completed on 26th August. After 2 years of looking at various websites and visiting Moraira at different times we were lucky enough to come across Anthony & Sally. They have been with us every step of the way as we have finally found and bought our dream home in the sun. My wife and I were novices in the search for a Spanish property - we were also new to the Moraira area! But we’d made the decision to take early steps to purchase something that could serve as a holiday home, but that we could also rent out. It was clear that we needed somebody who could guide, advise and give us confidence in what was a big decision. We didn’t know anyone personally and came across Anthony and Sally’s website. An exploratory call with Sally sparked our interest and we exchanged emails and property details focusing on nailing our search criteria more insightfully. After meeting up in Moraira over coffee to discuss potential properties and shortlist a few for viewing, Anthony and Sally were able to discuss the different areas of the Northern Costa Blanca and hone our search really well. To the point where we viewed a property that we fell in love with and have now bought. We discounted some properties and listened to their local knowledge of the area, property position, market dynamics and even ideas on reshaping and building work. What a dream team! From my very first interaction Anthony and Sally both impressed. Sally worked really hard to understand what I was looking for, short listing a number of properties I had spotted on their website and a number of others that she thought would suit me. The baton was then handed over to Anthony to conduct the majority of the viewings. During the viewings Anthony would keep my feet on the ground pointing out key aspects to consider such as orientation, state of repair, state of wiring, service charges etc. Even when I saw ‘the one’ he still encouraged me to see the rest of the planned viewings to make sure I was sure. Both he and Sally truly give a 360º view of the property giving you the facts needed to make the right choice. The property I chose required a complete renovation so prior to making an offer Anthony made sure that I knew exactly what I was getting myself into. Anthony managed the offer process and arranged for a lawyer to meet with me, hours of their time was given to me and I always got the sense that they were trying to do their best for me, never rushing me - it felt personal. They both have a solid local network and are respected by the local estate agents. There is no pushiness, no hidden agendas, they don’t ‘own the stock’ or the backlogs the estate agents have, so there is no ulterior motive, there are no hard sales targets that an estate agent may be incentivised to meet. The fact that they are independent and have made the move themselves is really key. Key to me is that they have experienced what their clients are experiencing. Buying a ‘place in the sun’ is special but also daunting for most people. When buying a property in your own country you are more self sufficient and more aware. You can drive by at different times of the day and week, make arrangements to measure up whilst you wait to complete. When buying abroad that is not always possible, so you really need a pair of eyes and ears to help with this. If you then add in the fact that the legal and fiscal system are different, having to deal with the process in a language you may not have full capability in, you need professionals that you can trust. It’s not as easy as it’s made to look on the TV. Anthony and Sally have helped me through all aspects, leveraging their trusted and proven independent network and thus taking the stress and uncertainty out of the process. After two visits to Moraira we decided that the area would be perfect for our retirement home and a close family friend recommended that we approach Anthony and Sally to help us select the right property. What can I say about Anthony & Sally? They have been wonderful helping us to achieve our dream. They are friendly, professional and extremely knowledgeable about the area. We viewed lots of villas over two visits to Moraira. One that we were particularly interested in, Anthony pointed out that due to the huge trees surrounding the villa we would never get any sun. So he always kept our feet on the ground and pointed out the down sides of each property as well as the advantages of each property. In July we thought we had found our ideal villa and negotiated a great price with the help of Anthony. He then introduced us to a lawyer who found out that there were problems with the land, so were advised not to proceed with the purchase. We were devastated but thankfully we had found out early on, as we could have been stuck with an unsaleable property in the future. For anyone looking to buy property in Moraira or Javea. We started looking for a place in Spain about 3 years ago, initially in the Oliva/Gandia region. We visited that area once with an agent and then broadened our search to get a better idea of what was available. We found Spanish Property Sales (or Anthony and Sally) on the web about a year afterwards. Sally explained that unlike the other agents, they were property finders, who work on behalf of the buyer and not the vendor. So we explained what we were looking for (or what we though we were looking for!) and Sally put together an initial list of properties to view. We then organised a viewing trip and when we arrived in Spain, Anthony took over. He picked us up in the morning from where we were staying and took us to around a dozen or so carefully selected properties over that first weekend. We didn’t really know much of the area at first, but soon got the feel for the various parts (Partidas) whilst touring around with Anthony. We repeated the process of building a shortlist and viewing properties another 2 or 3 times over the next year and got a better idea of what we wanted, and fixed more closely on our preferred area (Moraira). After one of the weekends, we put an offer in on a bungalow, but negotiations didn’t conclude in a sale, as the vendor did not accept our revised offer. This is where Anthony and Sally’s advice was crucial. They advised us that they thought our offer was more than reasonable and advised us to keep on looking. Anthony was optimistic he would find us something. We really appreciated the fact that we were never put under any pressure to buy with Anthony and Sally, despite the fact that we must have put a few extra miles on Anthony’s car during our various trips. Sure enough, a few months and one viewing trip later, Sally found us the villa that we now own. I’m glad the first sale didn’t go through, as what we have now is better in just about every way.

Dear Sally & Anthony, We started the journey to find our dream property in the Costa Blanca researching online in late Autumn 2015. This quickly became a daunting project as we had never visited the area and didn’t have any contacts. We had found what looked to be a nice district around the town of Moraira and registered with a couple of estate agents, but they were only focused on their own stock. However, by a stroke of luck we had also registered with a company called Spanish Property Sales. This resulted in a phone call to our house in England, one Saturday morning from a lady called Sally, who introduced herself as one half of a husband and wife team – the proprietors of Spanish Property Sales. She took time getting to know our circumstances and requirements giving us lots of background information about the area. She explained how she and Anthony, her husband, had spent literally years researching the Spanish Costas before choosing to settle in Moraira some 13 years previously. They offered an independent property finding service that allowed them to give totally unbiased advice which we found very appealing. There was no hard sell, no contract, just lots of excellent feedback regards the properties we were selecting on the net. We soon came to realize that we were in safe hands and abandoned any ideas of working direct with estate agents – we didn’t need anybody else. With their help our original list of 60 properties became a shortlist of 12 and Sally reassured us that the house we wanted was there, we just had to find it. We travelled to Moraira in March to meet them – the personal experience turned out to be even better than the on-line one. We had been talking of purchasing a property in Spain for a number of years and decided earlier this year it was time to stop talking about it and get on with it!
