At the design stage, she contributes as a consultant on feasibility and economy topics. During the execution stage she will take care to build the detailed budget of material cost estimation of the project, asQuantity Surveyor. This document is key at tender phase, and will become the guideline to track the pace of the works, and make the payments in stages according to what has been built. She will also double check that everything is laid and executed as planned, attending and assisting the construction site.

Any residential/commercial construction site in Spain needs to be supervised by a team called “Dirección Facultativa” formed by an engineer with the Spanish title “aparejador” (Director of Execution) plus an architect (Director of Project). Both share responsibility on what is built, and both defend the promoter's interests against the construction company that executes the works: taking care about economy, quality and design.

Throughpractical knowledge, she shares her experiences on both social media and at building site, making her a great communicator. As an expert on the design and construction ofpools, she supervises large scale projects on the islands. With a few decades of experience at theconstruction site, she is still open to new challenges, to those projects that haveJe ne sais quoi.

Graduate in Art History, Graduate in Preservation & Restoration of Cultural Heritage, Master in Cultural Patrimony Management, with a Diploma as Professional Expert of Advanced Technology for Management and Documentation of Cultural Patrimony. Furthermore, she is currently writing her Ph.D.. at the Arts & Humanities program in Universidad de La Laguna.

Passionate horse rider who graduated as a Master architect at the Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, and as a Landscape architect from the University of Copenhagen. She works onrural architecturerenovation projects (from theOh, nonono! until the WOW), withsustainable materialsand budgets at the Basque coast and South of France.

Graduate in Fine Arts with a specialization in Sculpture, she channels her creativity as an artisan a.k.a. Gloria Sombra. During her time in Morocco, Turkey and the south of Spain she learned different vernacularrammed earthbuilding techniques from local master artisans (certified ECEVET Earth Building).

Born & raised in Canary Islands, graduated as an architect at Polytechnic School of Madrid, and was habilitated in the profession at Universidad Europea de Canarias. I lived and worked in Budapest, before coming back home to Tenerife, in order to work in sustainable projects on a local scale basis.

It is always good to have a conversation with, and always good to count on before thehistorical reportabout cultural values of a protected building is required in order to present the building license, or when both theory and hands are needed topreserve and restoreany given element.

She worked on several projects ofdigitalizationandinventoryof cultural heritage, directed the Area of Students, Young Creators and Researchers of the Hispanic Studies Institute of Canary Islands (2020-2024), and is part of the editorial committee of the magazine Nexo

We talk the same language - BIM teamwork & hand sketches - so we can work together when more hands are needed, or in a project that requires alicensed landscape architecton the team. She also speaks French and Euskera, which makes her think in different ways.
