Extremely pleased with the service that was provided from start to finish! And regular follow up contact after moving in to make sure we were happy! A Rental Property was found for us to move in to very quickly, and the landlord is also a very good one, thanks to Nicola Thornton’s great knowledge of Gran Canaria and her many contacts on the island! Nicola speaks English, and also Spanish which in my opinion makes her much better than all the other Property Agents in Gran Canaria from my experience! 11th Nov was a massive day for us. We bought and signed for our 1st ever house. Nicola started this process and has done everything for us each step of the way. There were lots of complications from paperwork, to bank managers and Nicola stepped forward and took over the whole lot. I can not thank you enough. At a very emotional and stressful time in our lives, with our son being sick, and my husbands mum passing away, the day before our purchase, Nicola made everything right. And even after, when her job was done she continued to go above and beyond her role by transferring the water end electric, setting up our communidad fees and taxes. From the start to the end she has done everything she possibly could to ensure our house purchase went through as planned.

Cero en el trato con clientes, como si buscar casa fuera en sí algo para tomarse a la ligera ¡¡nadie los salva de hacerte un interrogatorio de tercer grado!!  Quieren saberlo todo de tu vida, pero ni siquiera ver fotos de un simple alquiler... Tienes que salir a ciegas y viajar durante 5 horas y 13 minutos sin saber en qué casa, sin saber si tienes compromisos laborales o no. "porque no funcionan así" ¡Por favor!  Entonces nunca contesto el teléfono ni los correos electrónicos. Cuando contesto el teléfono escuchas que el departamento ya está en negociación o que ya no están disponibles, entonces por qué no quitan esos malditos anuncios… les parece una burla a quienes realmente necesitan una casa. Además tengo que hacer un viaje para ir a una agencia, primero tengo que pagar 500 € me encuentren casa o no.  Lo siento pero no me gusta como agencia.

Agency where the employees are evidently tired of working for "mafiosi"! where they don't know how to keep new customers. You are greeted with rudeness, based on who you are; you immediately have the impression of being judged. You book sight unseen, without being able to first visit the home (personal experience) that he offers until the documents are delivered! 10 days before the flight. So you don't know if you will have wifi available, if they offer transfer services to and from the airport. Evidently, with this policy, you don't even have the right to choose, you rely on his "it's a good apartment" (it wasn't at all) without considering that everyone has their own fees. On the day of the first quote we had been given the name of a very renowned and very central complex on the island, on the day of the stipulation that apartment "did not confirm the booking" (who knows what that means exactly) and so we went to a hotel after hours in the heat without eating. I imagine that naming the first house when we first arrived was a decoy If you ask for information on the services island etc. “go around and see on site”, ditto for transfers, “do it yourself if it's convenient for you”. I appreciate the honesty but if I'm asking you it's because I would have liked some advice from those who know the island well! To conclude, terrible transfer experience completely ruined by the wickedness of these people. I highly recommend, if you still decide to get to know them, to have everything written down in black and white and possibly make photocopies, you never know that some payments will only be noted on a post-it that is absolutely irrelevant in the eyes of the taxman.

Nous en avions rêvé , Mariva nous l'a trouvé. Je ne la remercierais jamais assez de nous avoir déniché ce splendide bungalow ou nous passons de superbes vacances. Mariva qui parle plusieurs langues dont le français nous a accompagnés durant tout le processus d'achat en nous évitant bien des problèmes. We just bought our Apartment via Almar agency. The whole process was so easy with the team. Honestly I can not rate how helpful Alfredo was. His organisational skills are fantastic. Came all the way from the united states to enjoy some real island hospitality, and boy, did I get it. Alfredo was the best and the bungalow had everything I needed for a relaxing stay, very close to the best restaurants and the ocean. To top off the stay, while doing the final inspection of the property, I began calling for a taxi, to a nearby town, but Alfredo made me hang up and insisted on taking me himself!!
