We met Alex (the owner and main agent) before we ever started looking for property through a chance and unrelated encounter. We got along very well from the start and when we decided it was time to look for property on Gran Canaria she sprung to action and was immediately helpful. The process of buying a house here for foreigners is undefined at best (you are NOT prepared for what will come up!), and as such it was quite the journey. Alex was extremely generous and gracious with her time and effort, and after seeing about five different properties and finding one we loved, she was with us through the entire process (which ended up taking seven months if you can imagine.. by no fault of hers!). Of particular value were sage warnings and considerations regarding hidden complications which lurk within many seemingly 'perfect' properties here, again you just cannot imagine how bizarre some things here are; you'll need professional guidance - and I am the last person who would normally insist on it! Another thing which was a godsend is that Alex has a close team of external services, architectural, legal, banking, notarial, etc. Without their already well developed relationships and coordination I cannot imagine how long this process would have taken or if indeed we would have ever managed to buy the property we now happily live in! I cannot rate Dream Homes highly enough. When I met Alex, I was instantly struck by her wealth of knowledge of the property industry. Not only was she on the ball, but so friendly and quick to respond to any of my questions. Dream Homes dealt with the sale and purchase of my property, always in a highly professional manner. I contacted Alex and Nicola at Dream Homes last September to enquire about selling our property in Gran Canaria. Alex met me on the Friday when I arrived on the island and by the Monday had found a buyer. The next day an offer had been agreed and deposit had been secured with a completion date agreed for the end of May 2020 (our request to delay the completion for 8 months). The Covid 19 situation meant that completing the sale became very complicated as neither us as sellers or the buyers could get to the island. With the support of Alex and Nicola over the last 8 months we finally completed the sale this week (one week ahead of the planned completion date). Nothing was too much trouble and messages or calls were responded to or returned very promptly. I have been dealing with Alex, Kate and Nicola over the last few months whilst in the process of buying my flat in Las Palmas, Alex took me to a few properties even although dream homes weren't actually selling the properties, she asked all the right questions of the Spanish estate agents and helped with local knowledge on whether a property was worth pursuing or not. Anything I was worried about was quickly dealt with by one of the girls, on the day I was actually moving into the flat (December the 4th) my bank told me there was a problem and that I couldn't move that day, I texted Alex and she was at the bank within minutes to tell them to get the problems sorted and that I WAS moving in that day, she helped so much as I was as stressed as I have ever been in my life. Kate later accompanied me to the notary and asked a few questions of the sellers which I couldn't have done as my Spanish isn't great and they spoke no English. She subsequently arranged for a bed to be delivered at a much lesser cost than I had seen in all the bed shops I had looked at, she even got me quotes for a new boiler as the old one was broken. Even though I am back in the UK just now the girls are still dealing with utilities etc on my behalf whereas some agencies would have left me to it once the keys were handed over. I cannot praise dream homes highly enough and would encourage anyone whether buying or selling to use them as they definitely do go the extra mile. Thank you ladies and I will see you soon.

All the team have been friendly and helpful and in particular Nicola who has managed my renting an apartment from start to finish - whatever the issue it's been a "can do" - the initial paperwork sent with an English translation; arranging for me to collect keys from the taxi driver from the airport as I was arriving late (and a much cheaper taxi service too!); putting me in touch with an English cleaner (also low rates); sorting out various minor issues with the landlords quickly and easily. I would recommend them to anyone!

There are no words in how outstanding Alex was, is and I have a feeling, always will be. We have bought properties in UK but nobody can match the outstanding service provided by Alex. This being the first property bought abroad, we were slightly worried how will the process be etc.. We started the process with a rivalry company but after some word of mouth recommendations we opted to go and see Alex. And thankfully we did. She helped us trough the whole process, we had quite a few issues and many questions. For Alex, nothing was too much and she helped so much that we had to tell her to take some time off! Having run an ICT company in Ireland for over thirty years, I have had experience of all types of contractors, free-lancers, suppliers and service providers. Some have been adequate, some excellent, but very few have been exceptional. In my personal business, when it came to purchasing a property in Gran Canaria, the team at Dream Homes Gran Canaria (Alexandra, Nicola and Kate) have exceeded my previous understanding of the expression ‘exceptional’. These ladies ARE exceptional in every area related to the purchase (and I would imagine, disposal) of any property in Gran Canaria. From the moment I walked in the door of their offices to the closure of the property purchase a couple of months later, I was kept fully informed throughout with calls, texts, e-mails and I could not have been treated better at any stage of the procurement process. Though the property I settled for was not part of their property listings, I felt as if it was because Alexandra became the intermediary who dealt on my behalf with the estate agents who had it as part of their portfolio. She introduced me to an excellent firm of solicitors to complete the legal requirements and an outstanding choice of financial institutions to fund the purchase. Having decided to sell my home in Gran Canaria, I approached Dream Homes on 25th January. The assessment and valuation was almost immediate - demonstrably quicker (and more enthusiastic!) than the other agents I had contacted. Once photographs were taken, the listing went live on their website within a matter of days, and the information also shared with the other partner-agencies within their group. Viewings began on Tuesday 31st January. A buyer was found very quickly, and the sale concluded on Monday 27th February - less than 4 weeks after the first viewing. Hugely impressive. I experienced professional, friendly and supremely efficient service from Kate, Alex and Nicola from the very start. The communication throughout the process, with regular feedback after each viewing, was very useful. Definitely an agency that cares about its clients. Highly recommended.

We first met Alex and Nicola from Dream homes 4 years ago and in that time we have Rented, then Bought, then Sold, then Rented and now Bought again. We love living in Gran Canaria and were finding great difficulty in finding another Property to Purchase which suited all our needs. When we needed the services of the Notary to Buy and Sell Alex came with us. Basically, they make it easy and take away all the pressure. The Dream Team of Alex, Nicola and Kate are all British, very Experienced, very Knowledgeable and very Trustworthy. They are all fluent in Spanish, which is a tremendous asset if you decide to use them to purchase a Property on this wonderful Island. This document is no ordinary reference but other than pure tribute to Dream Homes "brokerage queens" Alex & Nicola - which dream team! For six weeks we stayed a week at various parts of the PDI to form an idea of the area and even in which the apartment complex that we ideally wanted to make our investment. After many impressions and broker contacts we came only one day before our departure in contact with Alex. With her professional sense, she created the trust and confidence in the negotiations between the seller, who just had some thoughts about selling, and us as hot buyers. Well at home in the snow and coldness, we were after a time in which Alex's warm message that we within "the budget" had the chance to buy exactly the apartment we dreamed of becoming the owner! When we are in January 2015 stepped into our apartment, we had only seen the photos and descriptions with Alex. During the 1.5 years that elapsed since our purchase has Nicola, with her skill, contacts and always friendly attitude "on line" made the life of the owners easy and secure! With our dream team - Alex & Nicola - we have both been the owners of our dream apartment and got a valuable super connector for an accommodation in the sun with a focus on life's pleasures. We could not have done all this without her acting as our interpreter and the advice she gave us. We called to Alex in Dream Homes 2 years ago and at that time she did her best to find a suitable apt for us. However we found nothing suitable at that stage, but Alex kept us updated until she found a suitable property for us. We were looking to purchase a property in the south of Gran Canaria and met with Alex & Nicola from Dream Homes. I was very specific in the type of property I was looking for but also wanted to see what I could get for my money in the neighbouring areas... Alex was fantastic and showed a variety of properties...she also showed us our dream property in the ideal street/location which we immediately offered on and was accepted... After many years spending our holidays in Gran Canaria and having rented three different properties we finally decided to move here permanently. We wanted a large house away from the tourist hotspots and having already experienced the brilliant customer service provided by Dream Homes when we were renting, it was a no brainer as to which agents we would use. Nicola and Alex had never let us down in the past and we trusted them completely. This was a huge move for us and our new home had to be exactly what we wanted. We made a very long list of our requirements and when we handed it to Nicola it felt as if we had set her an impossible challenge. No such thing. She took it all in her stride. We recommend Dream homes to anyone looking to purchase a property in Gran Canarias. Three years ago we decided to purchase a property on Gran Canarias as this island would be our paradise once retired. November 2013, we finally decided to go to Gran Canarias looking for a house, we had some appointments with different people, finally none of them could help us due to incorrect information, or not possible to visit the house. January 2014 I looked for another immo company on the island DREAM HOMES, since the first contact we received a lot of information and we had a very good contact with Alex, in February we came for 5 days to Gran Canarias, Alex presented us some hosen on paper and arranged all the visits, even for house not on the site of Dream Homes, she arranged it. During the talks with Alex she understood what we really looked for and after some days she showed us a great house in Santa Fe 1. Eric and I felt in love for the house. Only one day left us before flying back to Belgium but Alex arranged everything in 1 day, so we went back home with a big smile, April 2014 we went back to playa del ingles to sign the documents with the notary. Everything was arranged by Alex and Nicola. Only one word for that “fantastic” Now, when we have 4 or 5 days off, we just fly to our paradise in Playa del Ingles.
