Free Estate Agents was the Agency that I was going to do a purchase through and because of their friendly professionalism and helpful attitude I then chose to do the sale of my apartment through them also. Every step of the way they were there to take phone calls, they were helpful, they were patient and very knowledgeable, informative of everything I needed to know to ease the process.. Well real competition comes to Ciudad Quesada. Free Real Estate sold our house in a week, for a fair price, it was valued €345,000 with an expectation to reduce 2.5-5% to sell. He achieved a fair €325,000 we wanted €330,000 but because he introduced the buyer through his own business and not from a third party who would have wanted a 2% commission, we actually achieved more money net, the cost €1000.00 plus 12.5% VAT (IVA) €1250.00 it would have cost us another €6600 + VAT had there been a third party introduction. However had we used another agent, (they were looking at 5%) it would have cost =€16500+IVA or €18562.50! Compare that to €1250.00 total with Free! The thing was the other agents wanted me to drop my price for a quick sale!. I’m not surprised with that level of commission. So let’s get down to the service, Gary was 100% proactive, keeping us informed all the way, going that extra mile, he had 6 viewings in the first 3 days, Starting Monday, one buyer put an offer in for €335,000, but the sale of their house fell through so they had to pull out. Undeterred Gary ploughed on and had more people looking until the offer put forward on Thursday €325,000, Gary gave us their offer, he said if we wanted to think about it awhile it was fine, but we thought it was a fair and genuine offer, we did the math and accepted, then Gary went into top gear. We gave him our keys and left for England, today 10 days early, we exchanged. In that time Gary did everything needed to get the sale completed taking all the stress out of the process.. not only are we delighted but the buyers are also thanking him for his help and guidance. My rating is 10/10 and it was well deserved. Not only because we saved so much money but because it was so easy dealing with a top professional. First class. Our friends are selling soon they too will use Free.
