We had a great experience with renting a finca from SF Properties, their office is located in the center of Competa, about 1 hour drive from Malaga airport. After finalizing the paper work in the office (which only took a few minutes) we were accompanied to the finca. It was clean, well maintained and everything you needed was there. We received instructions about the facilities and even got some welcome food/drinks, a nice gesture after a long trip. During our stay, owners were available for questions and topics were taken care of very quickly so all in all we were very satisfied.

Finca El Frontin really is a very special place. Beautifully furnished and equipped it sits in a very private and quiet location just outside the lovely village of Cómpeta. The attention to detail is more than impressive and real thought has clearly gone in to ensuring that guests will have a great time. The pool is gorgeous, the outside areas are perfect for relaxing and dining, the view south towards the coast is stunning and inside everything is very high quality, tasteful and comfortable. Sergio and his team are based in Cómpeta and will help you if you need anything. You get the sense that they're really proud of this property and so they should be - it's the best villa we've ever rented.

This villa is stunning. It is one of the best villas we have stayed in. The location is amazing and the views are spectacular. The villa has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The outside of the villa has a fully equipped kitchen with fridge freezer and also a gas BBQ. It is a few minutes drive into Competa Square where there are lots of lovely restaurants to try. Sergio and his team were prompt with responses when we had questions and also organised a restaurant and transport from the villa for us to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I can highly recommend the restaurant El Cortijo Paco, the food was delicious. I would highly recommend this villa.

Das Haus innen ist stylisch im Boho Stil eingerichtet und hat sowohl in beiden Schlafzimmern, als auch im Wohnzimmer eine Klimaanlage. Im Freien ist ein großer schöner Pool umringt von Palmen. Man hat keine direkten Nachbarn und kann die Ruhe genießen. Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Urlaub und haben nichts vermisst. Wenn wir wieder nach Andalusien kommen, dann gerne nochmals in diese schöne Finca.

Buying a house in Spain for the first time is an exciting adventure, but in July this year we decided to take this step. The real estate agent who sold the house was SF Properties in Competa. In addition to the contacts of our own broker, the contacts with SF Properties during the entire purchase process were mainly through Josh and Sergio. It was very pleasant to do business with both Johs and Sergio in combination whit our own broker. The communication was complete, clear and sincere and we were properly informed. After reading stories of rife corruption amongst builders, entrepreneurs and estate agents on the Spanish Costas, I was very hesitant about buying a property in Spain. However, I was very fortunate to be assisted in my quest by Adrian from SF Properties in Compéta. Sergio Fernandez promotes his company as “SF Properties and much more” and, indeed, it provides much much more than simply selling clients a property. Sergio, and all of his team (Adrian, Lindsay, Josh and Mari Carmen), go out of their way to help. They accompany you on every step of your path of the buying process (and I would imagine also the selling process, but this was not my case). They know the Compéta area inside out; they are familiar with all the complex procedures in the house-purchasing process in Spain and personally know the local lawyer, notary and town hall representatives. They do not push you into buying a property - a ‘hard-sell’, you are given time to think and reflect and come to your own decision. They have enormous amounts of patience and inspire confidence and trust. And, over and above their professionalism, they are exceedingly nice, warm-hearted, genuinely kind and caring people.

We first purchased a tiny bodega to convert to a vacation pad. Sergio knew all the right people to make it happen…permits, plumbing, electric, carpenters, tilers, lawyer (thanks Mr Gant!) everything was taken care of! We did the whole thing without even entering the country and never lifted a finger. Next, we went house searching and finally purchased a house. We dealt mostly with Adrian and he was truly fantastic! He was very patient walking the village and literally helping me carry my kid in a stroller up and down the stairs throughout the village! He answered ALL of my questions immediately via WhatsApp, he walked me to the bank to help set everything up, took me to a tax lady, and anywhere I needed to go. After the purchase he even helped us find a gardener and checked up on the property until we could get back to Spain. Just fantastic overall experience! Thanks guys!

We can only say THUMBS UP for SF Properties. We already had some online contact with Josh and when we went to Cómpeta and saw the office we decided to walk in. They immediately helped us and Josh took us to some nice properties in Cómpeta, and later in the week to Torrox pueblo and Canillas de Aceituno. Josh was kind and professional. When we were back in Holland, he sent us measurements/video’s and he even climbed onto a roof to show us the view if a terrace would be build. We were treated very welll. We had lots of questions and they gave us all the answers. Nothing was to much for them. We really enjoyed working with Josh and we will stay in contact for sure.
