I had called Nordic Light about a long term apartment they listed. Kirsten listened to my interests: ground floor, have bicycle, etc. She suggested a better option for me than the listing I inquired about. Turned out so much better and wiser! I have now been here two months in historic Nerja, and it is FABULOUS! Ten beaches, boardwalks, infinite directions to head out walking or cycling. Little shops, all types of businesses in short walking distance. Kirsten connected me with the owners/landlord, and they are the most gracious, friendly, kind and helpful couple. Kirsten is always available to answer my newcomer questions, or help with translating, etc. My apartment is clean, spacious, with a courtyard, everything I wanted! Thank you Kirsten and Nordic Light!

I had a super experience dealing with Nordic Light Estates on a recent 3 month rental in Central Nerja. Kirsten was really helpful, communicative and organised throughout. The agent fee was very fair and the deposit was returned promptly - which has not been my experience dealing with some other estate agents operating in the same area. I cannot recommend them highly enough and they will be my first choice when I rent in Nerja again.

We rented an apartment for two months, and our experience was very good. The communication was prompt and friendly, making the entire process smooth. The apartment itself was beautiful, spotless, and offered great value for money. We were thoroughly satisfied.

We recently rented an apartment in Nerja, Spain, through Nordic Light Estates, and our experience was far from satisfactory. The apartment is located near Burriana Beach in a building (Rubarsal) with a bar El Fuego that plays loud music seven days a week, late into the night. Unfortunately, we were not informed about this noise issue by the real estate agent. The apartment itself is old and worn out, with problems related to electricity and water, causing significant inconvenience. The refrigerator is extremely old and noisy, and its sound can be heard throughout the entire apartment. To make matters worse, the electricity was cut off on one of the coldest days in December due to non-payment by the owner. The owner also attempted to blame us for pre-existing damage to the floor and furniture. Additionally, Nordic Light Estates only accepted cash payment, which , I learned later, is illegal as rental payments should be made via bank transfer. Long story short: We rented the apartment for 5 months for a substantial amount (euro 6K+) , however after 2 months we fled the apartment mainly because of the noise pollution from the bar but also because of the deplorable state of the the property. Overall, I would not recommend renting this apartment and/or dealing with Nordic Light Estates.

Absolute nightmare, please avoid at all costs. We rented a 3 bedroom property [NLALMIJARA311] in August 2022 which is currently still being advertised on their website. They do not adhere to the Tourist License, we had to file a report at the town hall against them. The property was unsafe, dirty and in an extremely poor condition. The ants and cockroaches were the least of our problems. Natalie refused to address any of the issues with us and hid behind Whatsapp. The pictures show, the kitchen was dirty, we could not use one of the bathrooms due to broken fixtures and the other one was just about serviceable. Not to mention, their contractors' way of fixing faults was by means of duct tape. There were duck tape repairs in every room. There are 3 double beds, which we had to purchase protectors for as they were heavily soiled. The lounge furniture was extremely tired, ripped and broken and beware, there is no blinds or curtains at any of the windows across the lounge and dining area, not a problem as the property was not overlooked, however the inside temperatures, despite having air conditioning got as high as 32 degrees as there no shade, hence the beach towels/sheets at the windows. There are also numerous wires protruding from walls and ceilings, not to mention the hanging downlight just above the shower. To add, the property was located at the top of the urbanisation, accessed by a steep pathway or/& steep stairs. The listing recommends suitable for families, our youngest child was 14, I would not recommend this property is suitable for anyone with children aged 12 or below or anyone with mobility issues. And its a good job that there was a washing machine as there was no fresh linens provided during our 3 week stay. And oh, the communal pool had issues so was not available for the duration of our 3 week stay. On our return home, due to the issues we raised, TripAdvisor has removed the property listing. Avoid at all costs, this was listed as a five star property, clearly by the listing it may have been at some point but that was a long time ago. Nordic Light will take your money and not provide any service.

El primer apartamento que estuvimos era pequeño pero para una pareja perfecto, tuvimos un problema y tanto Lucía como Natalia fueron encantadoras con nosotros, no tardaron ni 2 horas en solucionar el problema, ha sido un trato al cliente exquisito. El otro apartamento más grande precioso, equipado con todo al 100%. Recomendable! Trabajo de cara al público y las chicas han conseguido dejarme con la boca abierta, así se trata a los clientes. 😀

Excellent. We are three ladies, in our fifties who stayed last week. The apartment was perfect, 50 metres from Balcon de Europa, recently refurbed, very clean, modern air conditioning units in every room, comfortable beds, decent linen and towels . Upper terrace had well tended plants with a misting shower for cooling off.
