After much back and forth I decided to use Rafleys for handling short term rentals for my home. After signing with them, their communication stopped. I am unable to get a hold of them by email or phone to remove my listing. Not a reliable company.

We used this apartment to play golf and watch the Solheim Cup. The location was excellent. One hour from Malaga Airport and very close to a number of golf courses. The apartment was clean and very spacious for our group of four ladies. It had everything we needed. The process at arrival and departure was excellent. A car is needed for restaurants and supermarkets, but this was clear at the time of booking. Note it would appear there is no designated parking for this apartment, do not park in the bays.

The whole process from booking to check-in was straightforward. The apartment was everything we had hoped for, and the views from the terrace were fabulous. Thank you Rafleys we will certainly rebook when next in Costa del Sol 😀

Excellent two bed apartment. Everything you need for two adults and two children or two cosy adults. The apartment is very good with a sunny balcony and two sea views. Good tv in multiple languages and good wiFi. Walking distance (guess) 200 metres to about ten or more restaurants and cafes all with different but good offerings. Rafleys are excellent communicators via Whats app and minor problems are sorted in a friendly, quick and efficient way. We stayed for six weeks in 2022, six weeks in 2023 and are coming back later in 2023

Appartamento comodo e pulito,dotato di molti elettrodomestici perfettamente funzionanti. Abbiamo trovato anche tè, caffè, zucchero e sale,oltre a shampoo e bagno schiuma. Piacevolissima la Jacuzzi in terrazza😊 Purtroppo,in uscita, non si apriva automaticamente il cancello ma era necessario il telecomando. Altra pecca: abbiamo cercato di contattare tramite whatsapp per comunicare di aver trovato un passaporto dimenticato da altro ospite ma nessuno ci ha risposto. Comunque torneremmo sicuramente,bella e comoda location per il nostro gruppo di 6 persone.

Aquarelle 10-17th August 2022 Do not use Rafleys Costa Del Sol When we checked in the representative who met us at the villa could not speak English and was therefore not able to answer any questions. There was very little information at the villa on how anything worked. Calls to the emergency number were not answered. During my holiday I contacted Rafleys by telephone 24 times, I also e mailed and whatsapped them. The only response was a discussion on the 11th August with their representative Julia who asked me to put my concerns in writing which I did straight away on the morning of 11th August. She said she would resolve the issues but this did not happen. The following issues were reported: The Air conditioning was not working in a number of rooms during the whole week of our stay making it impossible to sleep in those rooms.. We had a small amount (2 showers) of hot water on the first day and then no hot water for the rest of the week. We had to boil kettles!! The small bedroom on bottom floor was invested with ants, they were all over the mattress, walls and furniture. The room/beds could not be used resulting in some of our party having to share beds. The pool was very dirty when we arrived, the pool cleaner came later that evening but that was the only time during our whole stay. He did say he would attend on the Saturday but did not turn up. The pool filter was not working when we arrived and the fountain was broken. The electricity went off constantly, one day it went off 8 times in 15 minutes. One evening it went off at 11pm and we could not get it back on, we had to dispose of a freezer full of food that had defrosted overnight. The bathroom door in the main bathroom (Top floor) did not close. The cleanliness in the Villa was very poor. We had to clean the bathroom on the bottom floor when we arrived and showers in all bathrooms were disgusting. The upper external stair wall was unstable and moved on tough. This is extremly dangerous and could have caused serious injury. Shutter door lock broken on ground floor The alarm kept going off randomly The pool lights were not working. There were not sufficient sheets for our party. (12 for 16 people) There were not sufficient towels for our party (14 for 16 people) The plants in the Villa were dead One of the duvets was shredded and could not be used. The door to the garage was unlocked and there was no key to lock it. This meant anyone using the garage would have un-authorised access to the villa as it was not secure. Other points to note: In the details online there is not mention of the large number of stairs to ascend to get into the villa, we had 2 elderly/infirm guests with us who had real difficulty getting up the stairs and who therefore could/did not leave the villa all week. There were only 6 sunbeds available for 16 people There were no bannisters on the internal stairs making it very difficult for our older guests The exposed wiring in the villa would be a hazard especially if there were young children staying. I cannot express how upsetting this has been, I understand there could be issues but would expect them to resolved quickly while we were there. I tried many times to contact Rafleys to get the issues resolved, I called repeatedly every day while I was there. Their service was very abysmal. I am still waiting for a response a month later!

**Beware British Holidaymakers!** We lost over €2000 with this company. They would not extend the credit note during the pandemic when we were unable to travel. No ABTA coverage. No refunds. Disgraceful!

Alquilo un apartamento de lujo (CONDOMINIO 1) con previo pago dos meses antes de la llegada.2060€ por 10 días A 3 días de la fecha, me dice que por una avería en el aire acondicionado, irreparable a tiempo, nos ofrecen otro apartamento en primera línea de playa a estrenar. Confiamos en la buena fe de la agencia, ante tan poco margen de maniobra. Que nos encontramos? Un apartamento muy bonito, totalmente reformado y limpio. Pequeño, mucho más pequeño que el contratado, sin jacuzzi en la terraza, la mitad de terraza de lo contratado. De primera línea de playa nada de nada… 1 km aproximadamente. Frente al apartamento hay un carretera con mucho tráfico que resta atractivo al panorama y aporta mucho ruido. El apartamento contratado tenía la piscina delante y aquí hemos tenido que ir en coche a las piscinas (2km) aproximadamente. Ni un bar ni restaurante ni supermercado cerca, tienes que ir a Fuengirola que es lo más cercano. En medio de la nada!!!! El horario de la piscina es de 10 a 20:00 pero a las 19,30 ya te están mandando recoger… YO NO SÉ LO RECOMIENDO A NADIE Y MI CONSEJO SI ALQUILAS ESTE APARTAMENTO NO PAGES MÁS DE 150€/ noche, porque más no lo vale. He alquilado a través dé AIRBNB y lo que no entiendo es que permitan esto; muy mal también por su parte

Actúan de manera ilegal, mucho cuidado con ellos!!!. Recientemente han dejado a una familia con niños pequeños sin alquiler a tres días de la llegada cuando lo tenían pagado con 2 meses de antelación. La excusa fue que se había roto una tubería. La realidad, comprobada con diversos vecinos, es que lo habían alquilado más caro. Ahora se dedican a dar respuestas por este medio en que había una familia confinada. Con estas cosas no se juegan!!. Menos mal que está todo documentado y la ley va a hacer justicia. Son unos sinverguenzas!!!.

MENTIRA TRAS MENTIRA. Así que después de cancelar la reserva 3 días antes de la entrada argumentando que se había roto una tubería y negarse a buscar solución, ahora resulta que contestan en las reseñas que había una familia confinada. Todo para evitar las valoraciones negativas que se merecen.

Rafleys es una empresa que está en el mercado desde hace más de 6 años y siempre responde tanto a las necesidades del cliente como del propietario. En los tiempos difíciles del covid-19 tenemos la obligación de responder a la situación actual causada por una fuerza mayor que resulta del covid. En la ocasión relacionada con su estancia, y tras haber recibido una notificación del propietario sobre la detección del caso positivo del covid con el huésped anterior, tuvimos que cerrar la propiedad para la cuarentena. Hemos avisado inmediatamente tanto a usted como a su plataforma de reserva.

Que poca vergüenza! Esta gente nos canceló la reserva que hicimos 2 días antes de nuestra llegada alegando un problema de tuberías a una familia con 3 niños y sin ningún tipo de ayuda para resolverlo, ahora y tras comprobar que había gente alojada en esa vivienda dan otra versión muy distinta. Solo mirad la foto y sacad vuestras conclusiones, vacaciones seguras AQUÍ NO Respuesta arbitraria que será la ley la que lo juzgue en cualquier caso. No se puede jugar con las vacaciones y el descanso de la gente de una forma tan sumamente deshonesta y sin ningún tipo de responsabilidad ni respuesta.

I had a lovely stay at Malibu Mansions. A great home away from home, a gated community with a pool just outside the apartment. The apartment was very well equipped, clean and had an amazing terrace with stunning seaviews. It even had a fast and stable internet connection. Highly recommend and looking forward to come back again.

The owners are CHEASTS, DO NOT book, DO NOT pay. On 28th June 2021 I paid £2000.00 deposit through Holiday Lettings / Tripadvisor for a two week booking for October for Villa El Paraiso. On 22nd July I received a call from their rep cancelling my booking. I have requested a refund direct from the agent and Holiday Lettings. Raffley’s have requested I cancel the booking (will cost me £650.00) as Holiday Lettings will otherwise penalise the owner. Ten days later the owner claims they can accommodate my family on these dates. I don’t trust these despicable people. Holiday Lettings / Tripadvisor have been unbelievably weak in sorting this issue too.

Mi amiga hizo una reserva de una casa.... todo ok hasta 2 DIAS ANTE DE LA LLEGADA A LA CASA.. PATETICO por los siguientes motivos 1. Cancelan unilateralmente 2. No te ayudan a buscar una alternativa 3. Te dejan abandonado a 2 días de la llegada a la casa 4. No dan ninguna explicación RESUMEN. 1. Te quedas sin casa 2 días antes. 2. Busca una alternativa a 2 días antes de tu llegada. 3. Imaginar los precios de una alternativa que no te han buscado ( se han despreocupado de todo, Que bonito!!! Que profesionalidad.... que servicio más bueno.... )que pena!!! Que se aprovechen de las personas... ah!! Espera!! Que seguro que como hay mucha demanda de casas, apartamentos, etc... han visto una oportunidad de oro y se han dicho anulamos (porque ahora no me compensa.. si voy a sacar mucho más beneficio.. esa familia... ohhh pobres... pero hay que exprimir al máximo el dinero de los clientes...) y seguro que la falta de compromiso con los clientes es su hándicap... así nos va... No recomendable. Anularon nuestra reserva a tan solo 2 días de ir. Teniendo la reserva pagada en su totalidad. Pesimo servicio y para NADA fiable. NO HACER NI UNA RESERVA CON ELLOS.

Tuvimos que cancelar la reserva realizada por Patricia M. , porque dos de los huéspedes actuales han dado positivo en la prueba del COVID-19 y estaban en cuarentena en el apartamento durante 10 días. ¿Preferirías que ocultáramos este hecho y pusiéramos en peligro no solo la fiesta de Patricia, sino también la salud de toda la familia? Todos tenemos que ser responsables y comprensivos durante estos tiempos complicados. We had to cancel the booking made by Patricia M. because two of the current guests were tested COVID positive and were quarantining at the apartment for 10 days. Would you rather if we have hidden this fact and jeopardize not only the holiday of Patricia, but the health of the family? We all have to be responsible and understanding during these complicated times.

we had booked a villa through airbnb which we were supposed to move into tomorrow for a month and the host cancelled last minute , I wouldn't of got a heads up from the host if I didn't call multiple times , we had booked as week in advance and had plenty of time to be informed that they had booked out the villa to someone else , we are now down 4k and have no where to live tomorrow

Hemos sido engañados por esta empresa,alquilamos una supuesta villa de lujo y nada más lejos de la realidad. Piscina sucia, escalera de la piscina oxidada, ventanas sucias con una pegatina de feliz navidad¿??? Sillas con mosca muerta y sucias, sofAs amarillentos... rejas oxidadas sillas para la piscina sucias, alcachofa del baño llena de cal. Araña en el frigorífico de todo esto tenemos fotografías!! toda la parte de fuera llena de agujas secas de pino, imposible que se bañaran los niños ni estar alli por su seguridad, la respuesta de la empresa que nos aguantemos hemos tenido que salir disparados de allí y no nos devuelven el Importe!!!

Villa vancejo was an amazing beautiful place lovely pool lovely rooms and comfy beds all very clean great communication from the owner julian and good communication from rafleys although a little hard to get hold of rafleys (hence only 4 stars otherwise would have been 5 stars) I would still highly recommend booking through rafleys as I would again for our next stay in spain If you book and pay through paypal expect to pay a paypal fee Thank you rafleys and julian 5 star family villa

Unfortunately the advertised location I found online and the actual location were 2 different places, about 4.miles apart. The lady who arrived (late) to greet us was no help. The representative in the office who said she would call back didn't call us back. If it was just me I could live with it but I have a disabled son and there wasn't appropriate facilities for him. Poor showing from this company.

Probably you have to address your anger to Tripadvisor instead as they are responsable for the quality of our connectivity. Your payment was fully refunded, we hope you found the property that suited you better.

Very unpleasant experience! We booked apartments in Marbella throw Rafleys In the advertisement it said that it is absolutely a non-smoking apartment, however, when we arrived the whole apartment was smelling like smoke even with the windows open. It was impossible to get the smell out even after a week of airing it out. They withhold security deposit (in our case – 250 eur) for damages that they know were there before our stay - TV was already damaged when we moved in, toilet lid was missing, the top part of it was not on the toilet seat but behind the dryer etc. Blankets were dirty with many spots and smelling like smoke. In the advertisement it said that there is wifi- it worked only a few days. Manager asked additional 50eur/week to have wifi again. A few days after our arrival a very unpleasant surprise was when we came back to the apartment and discovered that someone has been inside without our consent and had taken one of the internet routers. We called manager she told us that she was the one who came into the apartment and took the router. Also, there were several cameras hidden in motion sensors inside the apartment. Answer to your comment - we reported about all damages we noticed by arrival (including those you kept our damage deposit). We called to your manager and told. But of course - she refuses it....

Damage was claimed for this reservation as various damages were detected during this stay. Normally our guests report any damage caused themselves so it can be resolved amicably. Unfortunately this was not the case.

No washing machine Broken billiard table Un useable basketball court Un useable table tennis Dirty pool Head injury from pool side Ear infection Foot infection No ground assistance Rude staff and no answers to email and phone calls Still waiting for compensation

Dear Fiona, You broke the glass of the cupboard in the billiard room hence the damage was claimed by us on behalf of the owner. As per the deposit agreement which you had signed, you paid for the damage caused. Please note that we are unable to provide you with advice on controlling your children and as such we are not responsible for their actions. As a parent, it is rather your job. Our primary function is to facilitate your accommodation, and your obligation is to return the said accommodation in the way that it was provided to you. Therefore, we urge you to abstain from directing the blame for your actions on us - please let the deposit Terms and Conditions, which was signed by you prior to arrival, be a reference point to my explanation. Warning never rent anything from them!! This is not a serious rentalcompany. We were 6 persons renting an apartment that was so filthy and worn down so we could not stay. The apartment was not rented in my name which doesn’t stop me from giving my review - thank you.

Nightmare organisation who could not care less!! Rafleys were agents for an apartment we booked in Marbella in January / February 2018. We arrived to a filthy apartment which looks like it has not been updated since it was built in the 1960's. The original wooden window frames had been filled so many times that we think the filler was the only thing holding them together!! We visited in January when it was cold and the gap between the window and the frame was so bad that the curtains moved with the wind blowing in. On an evening we had to sit with blankets wrapped around us to just keep warm!! The blackout curtains had so many holes in them they were completely pointless. The outer curtains did not meet in the middle and we had to clip them together with clothes pegs just to try to keep out some of the light / cold. The toilet leaked and the bathroom floor was permanently wet making it not just unhygenic but also dangerous to walk on. The kettle lid was broken, the toaster handle was missing, the fridge door was damaged, there was mould around the bath and the kitchen tap. The tap to the sink in the bathroom was that old it was rusted and we struggled to turn it on. The list goes on and on. Rafley's response to all this when we told them ?? The "crazy Spanish lady owner" has been told but she refuses to spend money!!!!! We did point out to Rafley's that they COULD take this apartment off their books, if they were a truly professional company, and refuse to act as agents (unless their commission meant more to them that the customers comfort) for this "crazy Spanish lady owner" - they refused to respond. Rafley's should be totally ashamed of themselves!!
