A spacious and homely flat with great views of the sea and just a 10min walk from the harbour. I really enjoyed my stay here and the house was well stocked with all the necessities you’d need for a sunny Spanish week or weekend! I’ll be coming back with more friends to play some more golf!

We had an apartment contracted for August 2023. When we got there the apartment was very dirty, which the person from the agency recognized us. Some examples of things that we found are: hair in the drains, chairs full of bread and white as flour, grey sunbeds almost brown due to dirty, spatter like tomato and food remains on the cutlery tray, stained curtains un red color that we assume was tomato, dirty floors, mattress covers with bugs, hair, traces of lipstick and something else, dirty and stained sofas, mold on shower rails, closets full of old junk (bedspreads, pillows, mattresses) that prevented placing our clothes. Although she offered to clean it again (things as they are) when we told her that if she was going to leave it to us with a clean curtain or usable hammocks without getting some kind of disease, she said no. With all the inconvenience, we demanded the amount advanced due to the terrible state of the house, which she refused, arguing that he had reserved it for us and we had the house available, which is true, but it is also true that the house was not in habitable conditions (at least the minimum that is supposed to a touristic apartment). Added to all this, we found the swimmingpool of that block of apartaments closed for works, without having previously notified us. She told us that she did not know anything and that the owners had not notified it her. In our opinion, the person with whom we made the rental contract is responsible for delivering the apartment to us under the conditions described in that contract, with minimum hygiene conditions. Therefore, we were left at 3 p.m. without any apartment, in the south of Andalucia, with 2 children and more than 6 hours from home, having destroyed our vacations, and without our deposit. Stayed in Monte Duquesa in July we had an amazing time, our apartment was spotlessly clean, very well equipped and Sarah from Duquesa Holidays was amazing. This was the second time we booked with Sarah and both times nothing was ever an issue or a problem for Sarah. I forgot my hairdryer and Sarah was up the same day with one for me. Our kettle had a little issue and Sarah replaced it instantly, all these things just makes holidays stress free and more enjoyable. I wouldn't hesitate to book again with Sarah as her apartments are of the highest standard.

Great lovely place

Perfect place to stay for a family holiday. Lovely pool with pretty surroundings, balcony overlooked a busy courtyard full of laughter and very ambient. 5 min walk from the beautiful port with many restaurants and bars serving excellent choice and quality of food.

My family spent a wonderful 2 weeks in Monte Duquesa in July 2022. It is a place that we love and is perfect all needs. With 3 teenage boys the area offers so much. Wonderful apartment, complex, close to the port, sandy beaches and restaurants. It is a place that we will visit again and again as so much variety for all. Booking with Duquesa holidays and Sara is so easy and ensures high standard properties and support while on holiday.

My mum, boyfriend & myself stayed in the Dequesa Suites for 5 nights. Communication with Sara was brilliant when booking the apartment & on arrival. The apartment itself was lovely, it had everything we needed. It was very clean & tidy. I will definitely be staying here again! 😃

Spent a lovely few days in a penthouse apartment here over Christmas. Location is fantastic with communal pool area which is well kept. Lots of places to eat and drink in the courtyard below or a short walk to the harbour offers a huge choice of places to eat at reasonable prices. Can't wait to get back there in the summer! Finally managed to get back to Duquesa after 2 years. This time we stayed in the Courtyard Apartment. The apartment was lovely and spacious and very well maintained. There was a lot of thought put into making sure we had everything we would need for our stay. The communal pool was once again well kept and was a really nice area to spend the day soaking up the sun and there was lots of opportunity to seek out shade if needed. A short walk away the harbour continues to offer an extensive choice of places to eat with stunning views. There is also a well stocked supermarket. The apartments are in a good location both for accessing the area on foot and also has good access to transport including what seemed to be an unlimited amount of taxis waiting to whisk you to wherever you want to go! Sara was also on hand to help if we needed anything which was really reassuring. She also has a wealth of information on the area. Thanks very much to the owners for offering such a lovely apartment for rent and for making it such a home from home. Thanks also to Sara for making sure we had everything we needed during our stay. We definitely hope to come back sooner rather than later.

Beautiful apartment …if I could give this place 10 stars I really would! The apartment is huge, we had plenty of room ( we are a family of 4 with 13 and 11 year old ) ….it is very well equipped, newly decorated and got a lovely home from home feel about it. The location is perfect ….10 minutes walk down to the beautiful Marina ( a little more back up the hill or easy to grab a taxi back) The square the apartment looks onto has lots of lovely places to eat and drink ! Fabulous breakfasts and tapas at Kelly’s bar (you can also pick up essentials like bread, milk and juice) Takeaway pizza and delicious tapas at ‘The flying squirrel’ The pool and gardens are beautiful, well maintained and very pretty ! Sara is amazing ….. she is so professional. Everything ran very smoothly, if I needed to know anything (before or during our holiday) she got straight back to me ! I can not recommend Duquesa holidays enough! An absolute pleasure to deal with We will definitely be back !!

We stayed in Monte Duquesa for the month of July. A really lovely apt and great central location. We have already booked again for next year. Sara and her team at Duquesa Holidays were great and always available.

Just returned from the most amazing month in one of Sara’s holiday apartments, honestly can say it was the most perfect time I’ve ever spent here. Sara honestly made me feel so relaxed and I do struggle with travel. Yet this was the most relaxed I’d ever been on a trip. Everything from start to finish was perfect. Extremely caring and professional lady, nothing was to much for her me & my daughter are super grateful we got to meet her. We’ve already booked three future trips with Sara and my family have also. Thank you again 5 start recommendation 😊 The apartment was just perfect, we had everything we needed. This trip was extremely memorable Sara recommended some amazing things for us to do while we was there. Also some beautiful restaurants that was located close to the apartment. Actually a very smooth run holiday, nothing was ever to much for Sara to help with. We feel very grateful for everything and can’t wait to come back at Christmas. Thank you again it was amazing 😊

Just enjoyed a great weekend at the courtyard apartment. Very comfortable and spacious apartment with a lovely balcony overlooking the square, the pool at the complex is very well maintained and lots of room to sit and relax. There are lots of choices of bars and restaurants just a 10 minute walk away or in the square where the apartments are located. Sara the manager is very friendly, professional and helpful with any enquiry you may have, and the apartment was immaculate. I will definitely be back!

Sara provides a first class service managing our property in Monte Duquesa. Sara has twice organised a decorator, and has arranged to have the sofa cleaned, as well as regularly checking on security. Sara goes above and beyond to help with anything. We feel safe in the knowledge that when we are in the UK, Sara is taking care of our property so that we don't have to worry about anything. 1000% recommend Sara's services.

I would wholeheartedly recommend Sara to look after your property in your absence. She has looked after our apartment for a year and has organised plumbers, painters, cleaners, delivery of furniture, etc. She is scrupulously honest and reliable and will afford you great peace of mind

We are just back from a weeks holiday staying in the Courtyard Apartment, Monte Duquesa. The apartment was very spacious and clean and ideally situated with bars and restaurants on the doorstep and the beautiful marina was only a few minutes walk away. Sara was the perfect host and kept in touch with us during our stay. We will be back!

Just returned from a week in the apartment and cannot fault it - we loved it! Apartment is very spacious, clean with all the amenities you need. The neon signs are a great touch. Really nice to arrive to tea, coffee, milk, juice & some cava - thank you 😀 The owners were really helpful with tips on places to go, how to get around etc and the people who manage the apartment in Spain were also really great and very friendly. The ground of the apartments are also lovely, the pool is great - lots of sunbeds and really nice & peaceful. Nice bars, restaurants in the courtyard outside and a short walk to the Marina which has even more nice bars & restaurants. Nearby beach is great too. We will definitely return - can’t recommend enough!!
