From the very start of our Spanish property journey, Castles have been nothing but amazing! I told them what we were looking for in a property and Charlotte organised viewings for a number of properties for us. We flew out, spent two days with Chris, who kindly picked us up and drove us to each property. Chris was so professional, knowledgeable, friendly and personable. You can certainly see why Castles has been going strong for so long. He took us around the whole area, as we were clueless to be honest, and gave us great advice and knowledge about Duquesa, the surrounds and the buying processes in Spain. They found us our perfect property and negotiated the deal we wanted and have quite frankly held our hand through the whole buying process. They put us in touch with a great legal team and everything went through without any hitches. Since we have got the keys, Castles have gone above and beyond in their after sales, something we have never experienced before with any property agencies. They’ve given us advice and recommendations on tradesmen, legalities and places to visit. They’ve also held our keys for us when we’ve been back in the UK, so we can get work done on the property. Charlotte even met me at 11pm on a Saturday night to hand our keys back over to us!! The whole team are fantastic. Can’t sing their praises enough.

When we were building up to buying our holiday home we were concerned for a couple of reasons. Firstly, the rather pushy reputations that many UK estate agents have. Secondly, the unknown pitfalls of buying a property in Spain. However, Castles were absolutely superb throughout. There was absolutely no pressure applied from Chris while we were viewing the properties. Then once we had made our decision Charlotte took over and was extremely reassuring and supportive. She was a thoroughly professional conduit between us and the vendors. Answered our questions (sometimes the same one more than once). Helped us with specific issues once the sale had gone through. I cannot speak highly enough of Charlotte. She is an excellent ambassador for Castles.
