Kelly, David and Tyler at Mediterranean Homes recently sold my house in the campo just south of Alhaurin el Grande. From our first meeting to discuss the sales up until the last call, they got it right. We have bought and sold properties in Spain and in the UK and I have no hesitation in recommending them for their professionalism. There were a number of highlights, but the two things that impressed me the most were their joined-up team work and the exceptional marketing. Mucho cuidado con esta agencia! Al principio Kelly parece muy maja pero es todo fachada y teatro. Nos engañaron con la información de la casa! Nos vendieron una casa del señor Ralf Pirzl que supuestamente tenía agua (nos entregaron documentos certificándolo mediante una arquitecta) y era todo mentira! Entre ellos se cubren las espaldas y es mentira tras mentira. No se hacen responsables de nada después de engañarnos! No solucionan absolutamente nada y todo lo que saben decir es que ellos no pueden hacer nada. El peor trato que hemos podido recibir. Todo ha sido problema tras problema y a día de hoy seguimos con ello… totalmente vergonzoso

In early autumn 2023 we, my husband and I, decided to move out from Coín Malaga and go north. Not too long, just to the north of Spain and we fell in love with Galicia. We liked what we saw and with a group we have come to know years before we made contact again, feeling totally safe and trusting, with Mediterranian Home, Kelly Summerell and her team and we decided to sell our finca and rehome to the north. Kelly came to us one afternoon, did a very professional evaluation on our finca. We might have wanted more money but Kelly told us the ”pros and cons” and we already knew she was good so we agreed on a price that would still make us happy but also to make people interested in the finca Every viewing was properly announced to give us the time to prepare the house (with 4 dogs in the house it felt necessary to clean up the mess and to be presentable). We got into a great routine and the Mediterranian team, one by one, saw the viewings through and they gave us the full feedback after each one of them. The good comments, the less good comments but all in all to give us the full idea of each viewing person. Great for our own knowledge and feeling To the number of 30 viewings we used to say we had the cleanest house in Coín. Mediterranian Homes found us a lovely couple who saw what we saw, a lovely place to live and enjoy with family and friends. We have recently purchased a finca in Coín which was advertised with Mediterranean Homes. As well as clear , accurate and attractive photos showing different parts of the property there was also a 3D viewing option which was really useful as it gave us a clear idea of the size of the rooms in the house. It was especially helpful as we viewed the house twice before returning to the UK. The agent from Mediterranean Homes who joined us on both visits was also extremely helpful. Highly recommended.

It was a long search for a property possibly with a stable for my horses and the required license to keep horses or the plot large enough to get the licence. And the house should charm me to live there. Then there was this house. Other agents offered it, but Sylvia was the only one who provided the decisive information on the property. It is located right beside a riding stable! And has an AFO, an important document to have on the property. Perfect! Sylvia took care of everything! Now the property is ours. Our Spanish adventure began in 2020 via several online property sites until we came across Mediterranean Homes. The contact was easy, quick and uncomplicated right from the start. We had the feeling that we were in good hands and dealing with professionals who not only know their region intimately, but also understand their craft as well as the ideas and requirements of their clients' desired property. During our visit in September 2020, Tyler looked after us with dedication, time and patience, answering our questions and showing us a number of properties, we had selected. In the end, we didn't close, but we didn't give up on our project either. The year 2021 followed, again with many online searches and finally with some properties that we had conscientiously sorted out with Kelly's expert help. We learned from our mistakes and, mainly thanks to Kelly's help, we were able to limit the viewings to the properties that were really interesting for our budget, but more importantly for the conditions we had set from the beginning. After viewing all the houses, none made our shortlist for various reasons. But Kelly persisted, kept looking and with success! She found our little paradise on earth, it exactly met our expectations and fulfilled all the conditions we had set. But that's not all, because after we made our decision, the support doesn't stop. We recently closed on a property in the area and made use of Mediterranean homes as my buying realtor. Coming from overseas they planned several days of viewings and showed us many properties in our price range. They pointed out the good and the bad and listened carefully to our needs and wishes. I cannot praise David Burges and his team enough for their professionalism and guiding us through the process as it is different in Spain. They recommend several options for legal advice (needed), setting up a banking account (needed) and are a partner in the negotiations process. The communication has been outstanding and now we are moving to the next phase as we want to get some work done to our new home, like painting and some small repairs and improvements.
