Fantastisk hus for 9-10 personar. Godt utstyrt, god service.

We used take a break rentals for our recent trip to Marbella. I could not fault them the accommodation was excellent for our 10 guests a penthouse in castigone 2 minutes walk from the beach and restaurants, the communication with Colleen was frequent and she arranged our transport, Thomas greeted us at the property and was on hand for any assistance should we need it. I would not hesitate to use them again.. thank you for a fantastic week in your amazing accommodation.

Loved our stay in San Pedro, Marbella. Vilma greeting us at the accommodation and showed us around and told us how everything worked. The accommodation was beautiful and clean with a fab view of the pool. Both bathrooms were clean, kitchen was a bit small as we did cook, but wasn't really a problem. Pool was beautiful, never busy and could always get a sunbed. It was a 2 minute walk to the lovely San Pedro seafront, here there were a few different restaurants, and cheap sunbeds for hire. We went in August and found it not too busy, there was a great diverse of nationalities which we loved. Highly recommend Caminito del Rey, Ronda, Estepona. Communication with Take a Break Rentals was excellent as was with the owners. Would highly recommend and would use them again.

Very nice apartment at Urb Castiglione. Very near the pool which was so handy and garden area good place to relax. Loved the sound of the little birds. Beach five minute walk where there are quite a few nice restaurants. We didnt have a car so used Uber mostly when getting about. Walked into San Pedro centre about 25 minutes, same to Puerto Banus which was really enjoyable along the beach promenade. Takeabreakrentals excellent - all went perfectly and any questions I had answered quickly. Would definitely recommend

We warmly recommend Take a Break Rentals as your go-to provider of holiday rentals. They are incredibly friendly, professional, and make sure everything is well taken care of from start to finish. The personal service from Colleen and Vilma was amazing. This time, we rented an apartment in San Pedro, in the Lorcrisur complex. The apartment was perfectly fine – simple but functional – and within reasonable walking distance to the beach. The pool area was very nice, and it felt safe having a lifeguard on site. It’s just a 2–3 block walk down to the promenade, which was easy and pleasant both during the day and in the evening. For the best beaches, we recommend heading towards the coves near Puerto Banús (around Mistral Beach Club) or in the other direction towards Estepona, by San Pedro Alcántara. It is a 15 minute walk, but is worth it. There are also several nice restaurants in the area, mostly visited by tourists, which made for a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

Die Wohnung Castiglione 18 mit zwei Schlafzimmern und wunderschöner gedeckter Terrasse ist grosszügig geschnitten und bestens ausgestattet. Die ganze Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und der grosse Pool wunderbar zum Schwimmen. Parken auf dem Gelände war während unseres Aufenthalts Ende Juni bis Anfang Juli nie ein Problem. Einkaufen, Restaurants, die herrliche Strandpromenade, alles ist so nah. Wir haben die Ferien sehr genossen. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Great townhouse very close to the beach and a diversity of restaurants nearby. Appartment is spacious, inside as outside, well equiped, big enough for 6 adults and it looked simular as the pictures on the website. Gardens and pools were very good taken care off, lots of sunbeds every day. Booking was quite easy, contact through mail was nice and punctual. Da Bruno is a very nice Italian restaurant at close distance, 15 minutes walk. The tips were very usefull. Rent a bike to explore Marbella or Malaga. Till next time, we han a great time.

Sehr sauberes und schönes Apartment. Eine schöne ruhige Wohnanlage mit Pool. San Pedro bietet tolle Restaurants und ist nah an Marbella und Estepona. Die Kommunikation mit Takeabreakrentals war hervorragend.

Wir haben 29 - Las Adelfas gebucht. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und sehr gut eingerichtet (Top Betten und Küche). Alle elektrischen Geräte und die Klimaanlage haben funktioniert. Einstellhalle und Zufahrt sind sehr gut gelöst. Wir haben uns am Pool sehr wohl gefühlt. Die ganze Umgebung von San Pedro haben wir als sehr angenehm empfunden. Die Kommunikation mit dem Team von Colleen and Thomas war immer einfach. Wir konnten auch früh einchecken, herzlichen Dank dafür! Takeabreakrentals, gerne immer wieder :-)

Leiligheten er meget bra med godt utstyr både på stue, soverom og kjøkken. Kommunikasjon med Colleen og Thomas var svært god, både på forhånd og mens vi var i leiligheten. Vi hadde noe problem med oppvaskmaskinen, men det ble ordnet straks vi hadde vært i kontakt med Colleen. Meget bra opphold, leiligheten og området den ligger i er svært barnevennlig og rolig område. Kan trygt anbefales. Vel verdt pengene.

Wir haben direkt bei Takeabreakrentals gebucht. Sie sind sehr hilfsbereit und haben uns mehrere Optionen vorgeschlagen. Die gesamte Abwicklung vom Erstkontakt bis hin zum Check-out war sehr gut. Wir würden jederzeit wieder bei ihnen buchen.

Schöne, geräumige Wohnung in ruhiger Lage.

We've been there for two weeks with five adults and four kids. The view and the house itself was amazing. Waking up and taking a look at Gibraltar is pretty cool. There was enough space for everybody. We almost didn't use the upper level with the two bedrooms. But we've been there especially in the morning and before dask. There are some small points which are just our personal opinion: -The mattresses are too soft -Lots of ants, but hey its nature -The golden hair of our daughter got some green coloring I would recommend this house and especially the company for a trip.

We stayed in a villa in Estepona, 10 minute walk to beach, 35 minute walk into the old town, perfect location with an incredible view. We will definitely be using Takeabreakrentals again. We had an incredible week at the Villa Vega de Colorado in August. The villa was ideal for the 17 of us with so many rooms having en suite bathrooms and individual air con. Everything was better than we had expected and the padel court proved a very popular amenity. We used one of the caterers (Floryval) that Colleen had recommended and they provided us with a splendid breakfast every morning. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic stay in Estepona. The villa has stunning views towards Gibraltar, and even Africa on clearer days. Plus two well-equipped kitchens, inside and out. Thomas from Takeabreak met us on arrival and was really helpful. Great service; great holiday.

Second time we have stayed here and have loved it, all 3 bedrooms have a shower and bathroom which is convenient, actually the bedroom by the front door has the shower and bathroom outside next to it but this was very suitable for our grandad who struggles with walking up and down the stairs. The home is clean, the pools are lovely, beach and town near by. You can catch a nice tan on the roof or by the beach, if you go on the roof ensure you take your phone with you or leave the door open as it does lock behind you, they do make you aware of this. We will be back again!

We rented a large villa from Take a Break Rentals, with 12 rooms for a family of 23. Everything went amazingly well, the house was spotlessly clean and also the area around the pool. The beds are good and so are the sheets and pillows. My family had an unforgettable and enjoyable week together. Our family took a week long vacation to south of Spain and rented this a house in Malaga that accommodated all 25 of us under one roof. The house was just what we expected, our own private oasis in Spain. A quick easy ride down towards the beach and easy day trips to surrounding towns. The booking process, communication and accommodations were all fantastic. Highly recommend!

Las Adelfas 2 bed apartment, from first contact to check out Colleen & the team were great. Spotlessly clean, modern, spacious well appointed apartment in a superb gated urbanisation. We took advantage of the welcome pack and the changes we requested were easily accommodated. We were welcomed on arrival by Vilma who explained everything in the apartment to us. San Pedro is a wonderful very Spanish quiet area, which we like very much, but still within walking distance to bars restaurants etc, a further walk into Banus where things get more lively. We day tripped to Gibraltar and walked the Camino del Rey. The beaches in San Pedro are unspoilt a bit stoney, cleaned regularly and never crowded! The beach beds & umbrellas are less expensive than Banus & Estepona. The beachside chiringuitos are amazing quality We were lucky enough to be there and experience the Summer Solstice, where the whole town came down to the beach to picnic have fun & burn effigies. Looking to return in September and after that, as often as possible. Will be regular customers of Take a Break!

44 - Las Adelfas Frontline Beach Apartment. We stayed at this apartment for 11 nights in June, it was very good. It is ground floor so easy access to pool which is very useful. Firstly the correspondence with Vilma prior to arriving was good. She was not available to give use the keys but had them left at he main gate for us. The apartment itself is a perfect size for our family of 4. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need, The washing machine and tumble dryer were perfect for washing clothes and pool towels. The beds were comfortable, there was plenty of storage for clothes and suitcases. The television in the living room is a smart TV which we did not use very much but it has Netflix. It would have been good to just have a news channel but this does not seem to be an option. The pool was excellent for kids as it is a walk into pool which get gradually deeper. Opening times were a bit late at 12pm but this seemed to changed to 11 during our stay. The one drawback was the quality of the Wifi signal. The speeds were good when near the Router but once you moved to a different room it would disconnect and you had to disable Wi-Fi on the device to get it to connect again.

Femtes a great villa and location in Estepona. Had a problem with an aircon and they sorted it quickly.

We had a company trip (16 people), and we used takeabreakrentals services. It's safe to say it was our best trip thus far. The fridge in the house we rented was full of food and drinks on arrival, the pool was heated, and they even organised airport shuttle-busses and catering solutions for us. We had an issue with a key to one of the rooms at the property on Saturday, and within 30 minutes they had already sent someone to us to fix it! Great service, would definitely recommend using them again!

We spent a fabulous month at Las Adelfas Penthouse. The indoor and outdoor spaces are well furnished and comfortable and the kitchen is very well stocked. You can't beat the mountain and sea views from the patios. We particularly liked the proximity to the mountains for hiking, beautiful roads for cycling, and historical cities for sightseeing. The gated community is very safe and well maintained. Unfortunately the pool wasn't open during the off-season, but it looks like it would be very inviting during the summer. Check-in was simple and Colleen and Thomas are quick to respond to answer questions. We are already planning a return trip!

Just returned from a lovely holiday in Castiglione penthouse. Accommodation was clean, spacious and well furnished and situated on a lovely complex which was well maintained and had lovely gardens. The beach promenade was close by as was the supermarket. The town centre was a short walk away and there were lots of restaurants and places to eat. We were impressed with the communications from take a break rentals and with the detailed instructions from Vilma on arrival. Would have no hesitation in using this company again and returning to the area.

Das Ferienhaus war in Ordnung uns hat es gut gefallen schöne Dachterasse gepflegte Anlage .Ein Auto zum Einkaufen währe zu empfehlen Essen gehen und der Boulevard sind aber zu Fuß gut zu erreichen .

42 - Las Adelfas Garden Apartment. We stayed at this apartment for 11 nights in August, it was amazing. Firstly the correspondence with Colleen and Vilma prior to arriving was fantastic. Colleen answered every question we had promptly no matter how big or small, Colleen also arranged our airport transfer which was a huge help. We provided Vilma with a shopping list and she kindly stocked our fridge and kitchen before we arrived so we could start relaxing immediately, great service. The apartment itself is lovely, perfect size for our family of 4 but could easily fit 6 with the pull out sofa in the livingroom. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need, even plastic cups and plates for smaller children. The washing machine and tumble dryer were great quality and perfect for washing clothes and pool towels. There is a iron and hoover if needed and a hairdryer in each bathroom. They also provide a pool towel per guest aswell as normal towels. The beds were very comfortable, there was plenty of storage for clothes and suitcases. The television in the living room is a smart TV, we logged into our Netflix and Disney+ easily, unfortunately Prime wasn't supported in the region but that wasn't a problem. The bathrooms were good sizes, great to have a separate bathroom from the kids, the shower pressure was great. There was aircon throughout. The private garden was wonderful, the outside seating was shaded and lovely to sit with a drink and relax or enjoy a meal at the table. There is a maiden to hang wet clothes which we used everyday. They have two sun longers to enjoy some private time away from the pool if you wish. The communal pool is right at the end of the garden, the pool area is amazing, it's gated so no stress with the kids walking about. It opens at 11am until 9pm, there were plently of sun loungers even in August it wasn't too busy. There were always 2 lifeguards who were very alert when the kids were in the pool. The pool itself was perfect, shallow one end which was great for the kids, it was seperatd by a bridge into the deep end. There are toilets by the pool if needed, our apartment was so close we just popped back. The complex is very well looked after and right on the beach. There are plenty of lovely restaurants only a few minutes walk, the cheriquitos are great for a light lunch and glass of wine or beer and watching people walk up and down the sea front. The beach directly outside is a pebble beach, we prefer a sandy beach, we got a taxi to Puerto Banus (7 mins) which has lovely sandy beaches. We used my Uber app, it's really cheap. They also have something similar called Bolt which is also cheap. We got Ubers to the Supermarket in San Pedro, we went out for dinner in Puerto Banus a few times, it was really easy, we decided not to hire a car this time which wasn't a problem. You can walk to Puerto Banus from the apartment, it's a lovely walk on the beach front, it took us about 40 minutes, however we walked slowly taking everything in, there are plently of bars and restaurants to stop for a drink along the way. There is a Carrefour Supermarket 15 minutes walk from the apartment, it has everything you could need (slightly bigger than a Tesco Express). The entire holiday was perfect, lovely quiet apartment and complex for a relaxing break, or if you want a more lively time you can pop into Puerto Banus or even Marbella. We would definitely return.

We stayed at 31 Castilione Penthous and we were very pleased with the accommodation, lots of space for 8 of us and adequately furnished to a high standard with everything you could want. The roof top area was where we spent most of our time when at the apartment.. The complex itself was very nice, clean and quiet and felt very safe. We will definitely return the the complex which we felt was perfectly situated for what we wanted, a very short walk to the promenade with enough bars and restaurants, and 10 mins walk to the supermarket which had everything we needed. The service from the moment we booked was very friendly and professional and this also continued when we had cause to contact Thomas during our stay about a couple of issues that were resolved in a timely manner. Thank you for making it a very pleasurable experience and a relaxing holiday.

Vi hyrde lägenheten I augusti 2022 för att fira min mans 50 års dag. Lägenheten var helt fantastisk med ett underbart läge nära stranden. Takterrassen med dess utsikt över hela området och havet blev en magisk plats där vi åt familjemiddagar och grillade långt in på natten. Alla rum hade eget badrum vilket gav utrymme för egen space. Vi var 8 personer som bodde i lägenheten ( vuxna och ungdomar) och vi var rörande överens om att vi ville komma tillbaka ett annat år igen. Mvh Ulrika & Markus

Takeabreakrentals looked after us when we had a short break on the Costa del Sol. All contact we had with Colleen and Thomas before we arrived and while in Spain was amazing. We were offered early check in and late check out unprompted. No question was too small. Would not hesitate to recommend them.

The apartment is located in a quiet area and was very clean and well equipped, the beds were comfy and a baby bed and high chair were supplied at our request. However the furniture in the living area was well past its sell by date with holes in the curtains that didn't open or close properly and a dining table and chairs which were on the verge of collapse. A little modernisation would bring it up to scratch.

We were due to stay back in July 2020 but had to cancel less than 24 hours before arrival due to Covid restrictions. Colleen was so accommodating and kept in touch on and off until we were finally able to rebook for Easter 2022. The selection of apartments they have are amazing, suitable for every budget. We had a fabulous 4 bed apartment at Las Adelfas. Opposite the beach, one pool was open (early season) had everything our family group needed for a self catering stay.

Great location for a nice walk on the padron to Puerto Banos. A very clean apartment and building. We will return. The staff was amazing to work with!

There were 29 of us altogether staying in Hacienda Vega Colorado. I couldn’t recommend this villa enough. It’s spacious and beautiful, absolutely perfect for a big group. A big thank you to all of the team and also to Colleen who I was back and forth with, who helped us throughout the entire process of booking and information regarding the villa. As I had so many questions she was very helpful as I’d always receive an immediate response. A big thank you to Vilma also who kept in contact with us throughout our stay. Thomas and Colleen were lovely hosts. We rented a small, modest apartment in San Pedro which was the only thing available in high season for an extended period of time, but perfect for us, close to town and close to the beach. It had a reasonably sized pool and convenient parking garage, which worked out like a charm in high season. They left a welcome pack with basic food to get us going the next day since our flight got in late to Malaga. They were quick to respond to any issues that arose, spoke perfect English and very good Spanish and new the ins and outs of the local area like the back of their hands. One thing that many of the other reviewers noted which differentiates Thomas and Colleen from other providers is that they are honest and knowledgeable about the pros and cons of each of the properties. If you explain to them what you are looking for, they will direct you with complete transparency. Their professionalism was exceptional and I will continue to look to them for all our our short term rental needs when family or friends need high quality, well furnished and equipped places to stay in the San Pedro and Marbella area. Though these pictures include the little one, you can see the apartment/development in the background.

Takeabreakrentals are very professional and responsive particularly as we were making the booking at short notice. We were much less impressed by La Adelfas. We stayed in the adjacent apartment 10-years ago. At that time it was a very quiet development. Many families now seem to live there permanently next door the kids play computer games loudly incessantly during the day. The lovely gardens seem to exist for the employment of the gardeners so breakfast on the terrace is always disrupted, the overnight watering means the place was overrun with biting mosquitoes and the cleaners seem to mop the front approach daily but never get round to removing the cockroach carcasses on the steps to the garage or cleaning the common parts of this apartment. It is fair to say that the ground floor apartment did not therefore meet our expectations. Thomas’s checkin procedures are impeccable, however we were disappointed that at no time were we contacted to check that everything was OK. The cleaning charge seemed excessive given labour costs in Spain.

Having had an amazing trip to one of Colleen's properties in 2019 we did not hesitate in booking for the following year. Unfortunately Covid meant we had to cancel and Colleen has been so kind and understanding of the situation. We are so excited to return to Marbella once the restrictions have been lifted and would not look at any other rental company beyond Takeabreakrentals

We booked with Take a break 3 years ago and the process was so simple. Communication was great and nothing was to much trouble. Before travel we asked if we could send out a box with a courier of nappies, wipes, creams etc, so we would not have to carry it in our luggage. This was no issue for Colleen. We booked again to go this year but unfortunately could not make it. Again this was no issue for Take a Break. They are very understanding and will help as best they can. If you are looing to booka rental in Marbella, seriously dont look any further, you wont be dissapointed.

We are really saddened that have not been able to proceed with our villa booking in San Pedro for 2021. The staff at Take a Break have been so professional and understanding with us. We have used Take A Break for many years and the product and the service they provide are 5 Star. We'll be back as soon as we are able to make it.

Take a Break Rentals have been absolutely superb with our booking which they have agreed to postpone a number of times during the pandemic. They have been extremely understanding and are quick to reply to any queries. Sadly we haven't been able to have our holiday in San Pedro, but when it is safe to travel to Spain, we will certainly be booking with this company.

Fantastiskt lägenhet men guld läge. Vi har varit i området fler gånger och denna lägenheter har det bästa läget precis vid strandpromenaden. Lägenheten har utmärkt standard med en stor terass som vi nyttjade mycket. Detta boende rekommenderas starkt.

Take a Break Rentals is a family run business that arranges Marbella Family holidays. The owners are very friendly and professional and they are full of great information about where to go and what to do and how to get there. The apartment we rented was amazing and well placed for us to go out exploring and very important to us, was well looked after and clean. Dealing with the owners, you get the feeling that this is not just a business but a business that they love doing. Such a shame we cannot get back to Marbella for our family holiday this Spring but as soon as we get the go ahead to travel again we will be booking our holiday with you!

I think it’s great having a team ready to deal with day-to-day repairs whenever they are needed. Their property management services have always been on point. I’ve been using Take a Break Property Management for over a year now for my flat in Nueva Alcantara and so far I’m really happy with them.

Take a Break is the best property management company I’ve ever used. Before them, I hired a different company, but they wouldn’t update me as much as I wished. But Take a Break Property Management is different. I get regular updates (sometimes with pics too!) of my home in Puerto Banus. They are trustworthy people, not to mention really kind and helpful every time I interact with them. They solve problems quickly and efficiently. Definitely recommend them!!!!!!!!

Hiring Take a Break Property Management was the right decision for my family and I. We own a villa in Marbella and every once in a while it needs some maintenance work, airing out the place, all that jazz that we can’t do ourselves, since we do not live in Spain. We were worried because we didn’t know whom to trust with our home, but our friends suggested this property management company to us and we’re so happy that we ended up going with them!!!

At first, I didn't think I needed property management. But after owning a property in San Pedro de Alcántara for a year and seeing all the issues I ran into that I couldn't solve all the way from the UK, I knew I needed to hire professional help. This company is the first one I found and I must say I got really lucky, they have made such a big difference for us. Their staff is efficient and reliable. Unable to travel to our Guadalmina holiday home since the beginning of the pandemic, we relied on them to keep an eye on our apartment and resolve a number of maintenance issues. Wow, what a charming, clean(!) and cosy house - with actually 7 levels! 1/ Ground: kitchen with outdoor area and big nice gas bbq 2/ Hallway + small bedroom + bathroom 3/ Master bedroom + bathroom 4/ Another master bedroom + bathroom 5/ Terrace with dining area + big outdoor shower 6/ Terrace with sofa and view over the area and to the sea and 7/ Finally a sundeck with mattresses All the beds extremely comfortable, sheets pressed and exclusive, throughout the house nice interior details to make our stay magic. Also, worth noted is the service minded respons from Colleen when we had to postpone our first trip in June/20 due to C19, and then an ongoing contact when we could come down instead, several email with status of Marbella etc. But we finally made it there! Also when finally on site, one of the showers had problems - Thomas fixed this with plumbers within a day! Thank you so much Colleen and Thomas! Hope to come back soon! :-)

Fabulous service from Take a Break, very professional service & excellent communications, stayed in 4 bed town house in Nueva Andalucia, beautiful neighbourhood conveniently located near Puerto Banus & Marbella, the house was excellent as was the services of Coleen & Tomas, I would highly recommend booking with them.

Alquilamos con ellos un adosado en la urbanización Guadalvillas. Respondió a las expectativas que nos habíamos creado con las fotos. La casa estaba perfectamente limpia y dotado con todo lo necesario. Tuvimos un problema con el agua caliente que el equipo de Takeabreakrentals resolvió de manera rápida y eficiente. Han estado pendientes de que tuviéramos una buena estancia. El año que viene repetiremos con ellos, seguro.

Beach front ground floor apt. Free Wifi and Väldigt fint boende med hög standard och boendet har allt du behöver! Boendet ligger precis intill den gemensamma poolen som är superfin. Vi hängde där varje dag efter stranden och våra tre pojkar älskade att hänga där (5, 10 och 12 år gamla). Fin uteplats med gasgrill, stort matbord och egna solstolar. Ner till stranden är det bara 100m och där ligger flera små härliga restauranger samt en bra strandpromenad där många familjer hänger på kvällarna. Stranden är dock ganska stenig, men om man vill ha mer sand så ligger det många fina stränder i närheten. Vi hade bil och vi gjorde många utflykter. Bilen kunde vi smidigt parkera precis utanför huset. Kan verkligen rekommendera detta boendet och kommer gärna tillbaka. Tack än en gång för en grym vistelse!

We have used Take a Break Rentals on multiple occasions and they always provide a friendly & professional service. Communications are always clear with quick response times and they dealt especially well this year with the challenges created by the COVID pandemic which ensured we did not have to alter our plans and our expectations were managed. We even received updates on possible changes during our stay. I would not book with anyone else, well done and keep it up please.

A delightful 2 bedroom bathroom apartment. Perfectly positioned for the sun which East to West. Would definately rent again. The agents were really helpful and attentive, more especially in these difficult times of the Covid pandemic. Any advisory comments on small improvements that could be implemented, we emailed the agents, including the matress protector which another previous guest had mentioned

Exceeded my expectations. Modern and spotless front line beach in San Pedro de Alcantara, but still in only five mins away from all the activity in town. Great sea and mountain views. Very good, amazing, awesome!

Skøn lejlighed med dejlig udsigt. Blev taget godt imod ved ankomsten og der blev reageret prompte da der var et lille problem med et af toiletterne. Så på alle måder en positiv oplevelse.
