As probably everybody is aware out there selling your home is probably one of the most stressful things, at least I’ve been involved in. Engel and Volkers Guadelmina got involved with helping sell my house after it had been listed with a number of other agents, I did know the name, but I was always a little bit wary, dealing with such a large company, I felt like I would get lost in the mix. But after trying to deal with the other agents only to be completely disappointed, both with the communication and the lack of interest in my property, so we made the decision to try, I have to say, I was wrong, the agent from Engel and Volkers I dealt with was fantastic, from the moment she came to the property it was clear why this company was as successful as it is, It was quite a relief as I really felt for the first time I was in real good hands, professional hands, now I know why the name so well known! I guess no surprise given the fact that the company is a German company. I have to say one of the most important things for me. When you’re going through such a stressful process is the communication, to be kept in the loop when things have happened, such as viewings and feedback. I mean that kind of goes without saying, you think, but that’s not how it was with the other agents. But this is where they really differed. The communication was clear and precise after every viewing, my agent Sonia was in constant contact. What’s more, once the property was under offer, I was put in contact with Justin Boland the sales director of the west region for engel and Volkers, he took over from there and dealt with both lawyers and kept everything together even during the bumpy times. The process wasn’t always easy, but Justin and Sonia worked tirelessly to make sure that at all times the situation was under control, I felt confident from the get-go that I had made the right decision and I was in good hands. Thanks guys for everything we will be back I’m sure.
