Hi Folks, having dealt with this company, unfortunately I had a bad experience with one of their salesmen / Director. On one viewing I could smell alcohol on his breath, he was loud, rude, and obnoxious. he had obviously had a drink during lunch... I believe his name was David, he allowed the three buyers into our house on their own while he stood outside chatting for a good 20mins... when we got back into our house the bedside cabinets in two bedrooms had been left open, we couldn't tell if anything was missing, when I reported this to Ideal they sent me a solicitor's letter threatening me with court action if I published anything on Facebook. Not nice people !!!

Dear Mr Galvin, We’re surprised and disappointed to see this review — especially since the event in question took place four years ago in 2021, and we addressed the matter directly with you at that time. To clarify the facts: – David is a senior partner in our company and does not consume alcohol while working. The accusation is completely unfounded. – The two buyers were not left alone in the house. They were accompanied by an agent from a collaborating agency, which is a common industry practice when multiple parties are involved. – After the viewing, the buyers approached you directly and began a negotiation without including the two agencies. As per standard procedure, we sent a letter from our solicitor to protect our business and the terms within the contract you had signed and that you had agreed to when listing your property with our company. We understand you were upset that the sale didn’t proceed, but to misrepresent events years later is both unfair and inaccurate. We are proud of the service we provide, and the many genuine 5-star reviews we’ve earned. This review doesn’t reflect the experience we deliver or the way we operate. —The Ideal Team

We used Ideal Country Property in our search for a home in the Coin / Alhaurin el Grande areas. Peter was super helpful and guiding us to view many properties. La profesionalidad y claridad brillan por su ausencia. No volvimos a tener noticias tras ofertar por una vivienda que visitamos con la comercial Noelia Jiménez. El inmueble dejó de estar disponible y todavía seguimos esperando una llamada o un mensaje. Como clientes merecemos al menos una confirmación, independientemente del resultado. Una mejor gestión de la atención y el seguimiento os vendría bien.

Estimado Juan. Lamento leer tu reseña, ya que considero que la atención que os he prestado ha sido siempre profesional y transparente. La propiedad aún no está alquilada, pero ha sido desactivada de los portales debido al alto volumen de interés que ha generado. El martes 6 de mayo llamaste a la oficina solicitando información sobre una propiedad en alquiler. Ese mismo día te mostramos la vivienda. Me trasladaste una oferta 250€ por debajo del precio solicitado por los propietarios, argumentando que os parecía una propuesta justa. Como es mi obligación, pasé vuestra oferta, pero fue rechazada, ya que había otros clientes interesados dispuestos a pagar el precio completo. Durante otra visita que tuve por la tarde, te comenté que os enviaría un vídeo de otra propiedad de dos habitaciones, que sí se ajustaba al presupuesto que teníais previsto. Sin embargo, me indicaste que os interesaba más la primera vivienda que habíais visitado. El miércoles 7 me enviasteis una nueva oferta, esta vez de 100€ por debajo del precio, que volví a trasladar a los propietarios. Mientras tanto, la propiedad continuó recibiendo visitas. El jueves por la tarde, los propietarios tenían dos clientes interesados dispuestos a pagar el precio completo, y que procederían con el estudio del seguro de impago. El viernes por la mañana, en cuanto llegué a la oficina, tenía previsto llamarte para informarte de esta situación. Sin embargo, tenía visitas organizadas por la mañana y no llegué hasta media mañana. Antes de poder llamarte, recibí tu mensaje manifestando que no había actuado de forma profesional por no haberte contactado antes. Entiendo que la situación pueda resultar frustrante, pero la decisión final no depende de mí, y en todo momento os informé del gran interés que había generado la propiedad. My family had a property We wanted to sell in Alhaurin El Grande. I contacted ideal country property based on online reviews and a personal recommendation. The property was marketed well and as I was unable to be there to do viewings they managed everything in my absence. I was notified of every viewing and given feedback the same day. I was also given excellent after sale advice from the team with regards to conversion companies and the processes ( I am UK based) The property was sold in May. The team at ideal country property did a wonderful job and made selling our house easy . They have also been hugely responsive to any questions and queries I've had since the sale. I sold my townhouse with Ideal Country Property from start to finish within 10 weeks (a buyer was found after only a few weeks). The girls and guys at the office were proactive, communicative, responsive, polite and friendly. And as I couldn't be there to do the viewings, they took care of everything. There was a steady stream of viewings and I received an update after each one. So, in summary, I would highly recommend Ideal!

As soon as I decided I was going to sell my house Ideal were one of three agents I chose to give me a valuation. The service was excellent from beginning to end. Nothing was too much trouble and all our questions and queries were answered in a professional and friendly manner. All of the staff are helpful, but particularly Kelly who was on hand at all times and often went beyond her remit with help and guidance. We would definitely recommend this company to anyone who is keen to make the move to Spain. An added bonus is that the staff are English speaking.

Peter and the team at Ideal went out of their way at short notice during a short visit to help us find us a place with very specific requirements. Peter went way beyond his remit as a property agent, and not only helped us find our ideal property but ensured we got the best advice for banking, mortgages, tax, lawyers, local builders and most recently internet providers. I doubt we would be anywhere near where we are now with the completion of procuring and upgrading our property had it not been for Peter and Ideal Country Property. We would recommend them highly to anyone considering buying or selling a property in the region....

We have known Peter, David and the team at Ideal for many years so when we recently decided to sell our Finca and buy a Villa we didn’t hesitate to turn to them. Our requirements were identified quickly and a great deal of effort was put in to find us our ideal place. During this time we had many viewings on our Finca which would have tested the patience of many but finally, the ideal buyer was found. For 1 year we viewed many properties only to find out from our lawyer they were not 100% legal , finally we purchased a property with the correct papers . Then we used a landscape gardner who was strongly recommended by ideal who overcharged us for a very bad standard of work , our complaint by email was ignored and finally after making the complaint in person we were told it was nothing to do with them . Be very careful .
