Having come from customer service backgrounds for over 40 years and having dealt with many estate agents over the years, we can appreciate when we receive service which is exceptional and above the norm. This is what we found in Alta Villas as Julie, Andrew and Soraya are a cut above the rest without a doubt and we cannot recommend them highly enough. Never having been to Javea before, we contacted Alta Villas by chance over a year ago to view a few properties and have a look around. Andrew was immediately so welcoming and took the time to show us around the area as well, not rushing us in the slightest. We were hoping to build up a rapport with an agency which we could keep in touch with and who would get to know us and our needs as we were not in a position to purchase anything at that stage, and this we certainly did. Since then nothing has been ever too much trouble for the team, they have often gone out of their way to help us, and since moving into our lovely new home have provided us with guidance and assistance which is needed when moving to a completely different place. Aftercare is very rare to find but again we have found it in Alta Villas.

Very happy with the service we received on our recent purchase. Viewed the property on a Bank Holiday - it was no problem for them. Sound advice to our numerous questions, always within hours not days, and helpful explanations of local law and regulations. Post purchase the services have continued as we learn the do’s and dont’s of Spanish property ownership. Always willing to help or introduce others that can.

Agent knew very little about the legalities of the property and did not take ownership. You need to know what you are selling and if there is a problem with a property, just speak out, so solutions can be found. Compared to other agencies, scoring below level in this area. On top, I have never received so many text messages late at night, at night time or dawn, ranging from friendly to completely inapproriate. No, I do not want to go and view a house at 01:00 am in the morning :). Also received lots of messages with the F-word, which from the content, seemed not to be intended for me. No, I am not a competitor. Am happy to add screen shots.

Julie Jones and her team from Alta Villas felt like friends before we even arrived in Jávea, as we reached out from California during the pandemic, just when we were beginning to consider making the move to Spain. Julie was accessible via WhatsApp and by the time we arrived in Jávea two years later, she and her team had properties ready for us to look at. We weren’t sure we would buy right away, and thought we might rent first. But fortunately the perfect place crossed our path and we jumped on the opportunity to buy a place that fulfills a dream to be steps from the sea. After three weeks in Spain in September 2022, we returned to the U.S. hoping to be homeowners on the Costa Blanca. We have just completed on the sale of our villa. We cannot recommend the team at Alta Villas highly enough. Throughout the whole process given that it was during a pandemic was challenging to say the least, but Julie and Jo were both excellent and kept everything moving along to a successful completion. We were given many different valuations for our property, some extremly low, but Jo (Alta Villas) gave us the best valuation and assured us we could achieve this, think many just wanted a quick sale, but we believed in what Jo was saying and achieved a really good price, so very happy!! I sold my villa in Javea within 6 months of placing it on the market. The whole team Jo, Joseph and Julie were extremely helpful throughout the whole process of the sale. Lockdown in Spain and the UK got in the way for a while but I was regularly updated and were given advice as to how to transfer monies to the UK through Foreign Currency Direct which is another Company I would recommend. We have had the absolute pleasure of recently purchasing a second home in Spain with Julie and Jo of Alta Villas Properties. From our very first communication, they were attentive and listened to exactly the type of property we had in mind. We provided a wish list of all our preferences and the Alta Villas team got right to work. Prior to our arrival in Spain, we received a constant flow of properties emailed for consideration while we were still in Los Angeles, right up to our first face to face meeting at their offices in Javea. Julie and Jo had a weeklong pre-arranged schedule set up for our arrival. They recommended a mortgage broker who had helped us get pre approved and successfully secure a loan, an excellent attorney to handle all our paperwork, and a very helpful currency exchange provider to get us the best rate for our US dollars. In addition they pre-arranged visits for our child to attend a trial day at the local international schools to get a feel for the environment. Every single one of the professionals we were introduced to were exceptional. We were provided a white glove service by all and within days of viewing properties with Jo, we found a great villa. This was due to Julie and Jo being very patient, yet highly intuitive to our needs and requests. We had a perceived idea of what we were planning on purchasing, including specific locations from our own research. As Americans looking for a second home in Spain, we expected some issues would be a challenge for estate agents mostly accustomed to dealing with buyers from the EU. Before we came to Javea to view properties firsthand, Alta Villas took time to understand what we wanted, to send us property profiles for consideration and build a list based on our wishes and needs. They gave us good advice that enabled us to negotiate an offer well below the asking price. We found our new property with the help of Alta villas exceptional service. We have now brought three properties in Spain over the last 17 years and we have to say that this was by far the most efficient from start to finish.
