I was introduced to the Homes Espana's Denia office by a friend who had previously bought through them. Sharyn & her team listened to my list of requirements and "nice to haves" & came up with a number of suitable properties to view. Sharyn was particularly helpful particular with her extensive knowledge of the area we shot listed and viewed a number of properties. Due to a change in my personal circumstances I was unable to proceed through to a sale but would thoroughly recommend Sharyn & her team for anyone thinking of buying a property in the region.

Als je iets zou willen kopen in de buurt van Dénia. Zij helpen u verder met al de nodige info zonder u onder druk te zetten om te kopen. Dus je hoeft niet bang te zijn om een afspraak te maken voor de nodige info. Indien wij beslissen om iets te kopen, wat nog niet aan de orde is, gaan we zeker verder met dit bureau.

Could not fault the service given by Kaylee in placing our home on the market, when it came to the informative brochure to set things in motion I knew we were on the right path. This was followed by a fantastic photo stream and video in the property listing and I honestly say that I believe the video sold the property. Sold within days of listing. Who could ask for more.

Even though we eventually didn't buy a house with Home España, we had a lovely experience with this agency. Sharyn kept sending us info by email (the cadastral map was very useful!) and links to potencial properties, and we viewed a couple of villas with Clive, who was very friendly and profesional.

Muy mala experiencia. Diez minutos antes de la visita, Justynia nos envió un mensaje para cancelarla, a pesar de que había sido confirmada la noche anterior. Habíamos hecho 1 hora y 30 minutos de carretera para ver la propiedad. Es inadmisible. Es responsabilidad del agente inmobiliario confirmar con antelación la viabilidad de la visita con el propietario. No recomiendo esta agencia, gestionan muy mal los inmuebles que tienen a la venta.

I initially contacted Home España & was dealt with by Claire who phoned me straight away to assess my budget etc. I then was in contact with Sharyn who sent me numerous properties. Sharyn was on time at our viewing, no hard sell & just great to deal with. Highly recommend

We dropped in to HomeEspana in Denia in summer 2023 and were greeted warmly by Clare, who very quickly and possibly better than us, worked out that we would like a lock and go apartment close to the centre of Denia. Much to our surprise, we were taken straight to a new build and were so taken with it, that we signed up on the spot. 20 months on with the build completed, and with plenty of great support and advice from Clare over that period, we have moved in! Before getting keys, we met with Emma, our HomeEspana after sales “angel”, who has helped us with all matter of things involved in getting our new home up and running. The after sales help has been invaluable – liaising with the developer, getting services up and running, and answering lots of our silly questions – all with a smile. We bought a home in the campo from HomeEspaña Denia and were lied to throughout the process. 1) HomeEspaña's biggest failing, of many, was that the agent allowed the former owner stay in the property for 15 days AFTER the home was legally transferred to our ownership. During these 15 days, the previous owner stole the solar panels and batteries, the generator, well pump, water pump, water heater, kitchen stove, chimenea, light fixtures and furniture, all items that were a part of the inventory my husband and I and the seller signed off on. The agent and "our" lawyer only caught the seller in the process of the stealing from us by chance (a friend's son was thinking about coming to stay in the house). When we were notified about the theft via email (we were still living in the US at the time), we were told that the theft had been reported to the local police and the seller was being required to put 20,000 euros in a bank account to pay for the property to be reinstalled, replaced or repaired. However, when we arrived in April for a week and in May for good, we discovered that some property was still missing, the heating stove was broken, the water filter was leaking so we had no running water, the kitchen stove and solar batteries were not reinstalled properly, light fixtures were missing and more. But, because our lawyer did not ask us to sign the document recording this agreement, we have no legal standing for redress. 2) Second, despite having the property assessed by the surveyor Home España recommended, we were not alerted that our well was dry. The ad for the property claimed: “This unique property is completely self-sufficient as it runs the electricity from solar panels and has a backup generator. The water comes from a natural well, but there is also the possibility to connect to the mains water if needed. So there are no utility bills!” It is actually impossible to connect to “the mains water if necessary.” Instead, we receive agricultural water without fertilizer for 1 hour once a week, except when there is a significant amount of rain, like this year, RioAlcoy has not sent any water for more than three months. 3) Never use a lawyer recommended by the real estate agency, because that lawyer will be working for them and not you.

We bought our apartment in Denia in February 2025 through Home Espana. Clare Johnston helped us every step of the way to find the apartment we wanted. Then Clare's colleague Emma Freeman took us through the next stages of closing the purchase and signing the deeds. Emma even helped in our absence to oversee the installation of the broadband connection at our apartment and liaised with a supplier to install our awning. Clare and Emma couldn't have been more helpful. They were a pleasure to deal with.

Having bought and sold 2 properties in the last 18 years in Spain I contacted HomeEspana for information on a property we were interested in. I was told the property had a "Buyers Fee" of 3% on top of the price listed! Therefore this company not only get the sellers fee they double it to a 6% fee! Sellers and Buyers. When questioned about this they called it an exclusivity fee. Speaking to various agents in Spain all were astounded by this. SELLERS beware you are not getting a fair deal and a 3% sellers charge is more the norm nowadays than ever not robbing buyers with an additional 3% charge. Having now bought the property we wanted I might add without the buyers fee. We had a very pleasant experience with Homeespana throughout the process. Both Michelle and Alix were always available to discuss any part of the process both by email and telephone. Thankyou Ladies.

Wij Mick en Maaike zijn gisteren thuis gekomen uit Denia. Vorig jaar zijn we in contact gekomen met Hilde van Home Espana en hebben met haar diverse woningen bezichtigd helaas zat de juiste woning er toen niet tussen en met Hilde afgesproken dat we het in jan 2025 wederom gingen proberen. De afgelopen week zijn we wederom op pad geweest met Hilde en hebben met haar wederom diverse woningen bekeken. Last year, we started our search for a home in Spain and our search was eventually narrowed down to Valencia or Dénia. Despite many enquiries on Idealista, only a handful of agents got back to us and only one went to the lengths that Clare from Home España went to. She met us personally in Dénia, drove us around most of the town that day, not only showing us properties but also showcasing the town that she clearly loved. She showed us the beaches, the Central Market and other places of interest in the area. Clare, Clive and the sales team are professional and very fast to respond, unlike other denia agents I dealt with previously . They managed a number of prospective buyers before finding our cash buyer. Very wide marketing reach across different nationalities. Hier wurden von der Zusage bis zum Notarstermin keine sechs Wochen benötigt. Es wurden Stück für Stück leicht erklärlich alle Formalitäten erledigt. Wir haben das Haus erst zum Notarstermin gesehen, und waren mehr als begeistert. Unsere Erwartungen bis dahin wurden übertroffen... bei Weitem! Frau Matzon ist eine Marklerin, mit einer ausgezeichneten Kompetenz, in einer natürlichen, sehr freundlichen Art, jeder Zeit da für unsere Fragen, waren sie auch noch so nichtig. When we visited the Home España office in Denia we were greeted by happy friendly staff who were please to assist. Claire took details of what type of property we were searching for and contacted all local estate agents on our behalf. After seeing a handful of properties Claire quickly found us our ideal home. Language was no barrier as Claire speaks fluent Spanish and was able to seek answers to any questions we had. Everyone we met at Home España was very helpful and informative. They guided us through the process of buying and moving to Spain from start to finish. Home España assisted us with opening a bank account and provided contacts for currency exchange, legal services and home insurance. Their after sales service is second to none. They have introduced us to a reliable builder, pool cleaner and gardener. Even months after we completed our purchase they check-in with us to assist with any further questions we have about living in Spain. Nothing is ever any trouble. We would like to thank Home España for all their help and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy in Spain.

Selling a home in Spain is not easy. When you speak with your lawyer in Spain make sure you know exactly what he is doing for the fee he charges. There are all kinds of extras that you need to know about before you agree with the lawyer. That is why it is very important you have the best available agents to sell your property in Spain. From our very first contact with Alba of Homeespana in Denia, who was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly, from the initial consultation to the excellent photos she produced for our ad on Homeespana site. Also the property description. Alba has gone over and above her role in our sale throughout the whole process, helped when it was needed. We sold our property in eight weeks through Homeespana. This is a record for our complex. The average to sell with other agent's is 18 months to 2 years. Clare who handles the actual sale to prospective buyers, was again very professional, following through on every visit with prospective buyers, friendly and successful in securing our sale. Lots of viewings, lots of interest. We'll done. Michelle in After Sales has the task of pulling together all the various elements, and there are many, after a sale is agreed. I went to Denia for a week to explore the possibilities of finding a new home. On the first day I stopped by the Denia office to arrange a meeting with their dutch speaking representative Veerle. She was not in the office and thay could not tell me when she would be... But they told me they would contact her and get back to me. I never heard from them... Very poor business practice and totally unprofessional!

Clare at Homes Espana helped us throughout the recent purchase of our new 3 bed flat in Denia, from the first viewing to final completion and then the various snagging issues afterwards. Clare was so attentive and responsive with all our questions and we always felt she had our best interests at heart. In fact, we now think of her as a close friend rather than just an agent. In augustus 2019 hebben we besloten om ons huis in Spanje te verkopen en hebben een makelaar ingeschakeld. Omdat we dachten het huis eerder te verkopen door de makelaar exclusieve verkooprechten te geven, hebben we dit gedaan voor een half jaar. In februari 2020 liep deze exclusiviteit af. Geen bezichtiging gehad, alleen maar appjes dat de prijs moest zakken als we het snel wilde verkopen. Eind februari hebben we de verkoopopdracht neergelegd bij makelaarskantoor HomeEspaña in Denia, een wat groter makelaarskantoor met 5 vestigingen in de Costa Blanca met een frisse uitstraling en enthousiaste medewerkers. Toen ging het land op slot vanwege Corona. In juli leek alles weer een beetje op gang te komen. Zo ook de bezichtigingen. Ze deden twee bezichtigingen per week en bij bezichtiging 8 was het raak. Het huis is verkocht voor een goede prijs. Alba Lopez, makelaar bij HomeEspaǹa, heeft het verkocht aan Zweedse mensen. Op een zaterdag heeft zij nog een tweede bezichtiging georganiseerd om vervolgens op zondagavond de deal met de Zweden rond te maken. Alba heeft de verkoop super geregeld. De verdere afhandeling is door haar collega Clare Johnston gedaan die het op haar beurt ook allemaal prima heeft geregeld. Ik kan dit kantoor iedereen voor koop en verkoop aanbevelen.
