Visita un piso con Edward de Abbey Properties en enero. Observo que el trastero está deteriorado, que la puerta está oxidada, rota y ya no cierra y que la electricidad no funciona. Lo mismo para el videoportero del apartamento. No se puede abrir a un visitante. Me dice que no hay problema, todo estará en condiciones en la firma del notario. Vengo de Francia el 10 de septiembre para la firma en el notario, así que 9 meses después y nada ha sido reparado. ¡Coste de las reparaciones a cargo de más de 1000 euros! Este hombre es un mentiroso sin palabras. Huye de esta agencia. Créeme, les haré publicidad en la comunidad francesa de Dénia 😡 Este apartamento es para nuestra hija. Acabamos de vender nuestra casa en Bordeaux. Queríamos comprar una casa en Dénia, pero debido a todos los problemas encontrados, no compraremos nada más en España.

We spent a week with Edward in Denia, driving around to visit houses and apartments. We were able to view many different types of apartments, and Edward told us a lot about the properties and the neighborhoods, which was very nice. It was great that we could join him in the car and see so many places. The communication was quick and very pleasant.

Abbey Properties have provided excellent services in assisting with sale of our apartment in Dénia. They were able to speak with us in English and introduced us to an English speaking solicitor and also a currency broker which helped create a quick and easy process for sale of the property and transfer of funds following an offer being accepted. Edward at Abbey Properties quickly narrowed the search to our requirements to the extent that we eventually acquired our ideal property in our preferred location in the centre of Denia for less than our budget - while other agents tended to push beyond the budget wasting our time. Edward was also very attentive and very very helpful with all the important details - nothing was too much trouble from the start until the finish when we signed the "escritura" with the seller and the notary. The whole experience, with Edward/Abbey Properties at our side, exceeded all expectations and we look forward to retiring to Denia in the near future.

Referente a la reseña del Sr.L,Epicerie Brive he de decir como su agente inmobiliario que en ningún momento se le ha ocultado nada Se le informo de todos los detalles, no es culpa nuestra que el vendedor decidiera finalmente vender su inmueble a otro cliente. No había ninguna reserva. Hemos actuado de buena fé y nuestra intención era vender la casa a él. Por este motivo, creo que no es necesario insultar a nadie y menos a compañeros que llevan en esta profesión más de treinta años con una exquisita reputación. En la vida a veces no todo sale como queremos, pero eso no nos da ningún derecho a insultar, hay que afrontar la situación, entenderla y seguir adelante sin lastimar a nadie, no es necesario.

A fuir ... des escrocs , des menteurs , des gens qui n' hésitent pas à vous faire faire 2500kms pour signer un protocole et qui vendent à d' autres personnes sans vous prévenir !!!! Lamentable et pitoyable ... Un conseil : allez voir ailleurs et ce n' est pas les agences qui manquent .... Mais surtout : soyez vigilants ...

Abbey Properties can be very helpful when it suits their purpose, they are also fond of hassling you on the phone and telling you that you should be doing something when they haven't looked at all of the facts before calling! I was selling a house in Denia: be VERY specific about the details of any offer and get the details in writing. I was told that the offer was €190000 with the 'buyer paying the agent fees'. I had signed an initial contract with Abbey Properties alone, no other agency was on the contract. When the house was sold, an agent's fee of €5000 was on the copia simple paid to Abbey properties. The copia simple also showed the sale price for the property as €200000. The day after the funds appeared in my bank account a further €5000 was paid from my bank account to another party who I did not know. When I immediately asked what was happening here, since I had had no notification of this beforehand at all, I was told that the agent's fee had been 'split with another estate agent who had done the introduction'. This agent was not on my contract, I had no knowledge that they were involved at all and I had had no knowledge that they would be receiving a payment - although I had been told that the property would be advertised by other agents in Denia through a local agreement between agents. Why was this not on the escritura? Why was the full agents fee not paid to Abbey Properties (appearing on the escritura) and then Abbey Properties should have paid anything that they owed to another agent? I have been told that this will be rectified, but at the moment nothing has been changed after nearly two months and I am not receiving any communication.The big question here is what the buyer was told... I have no idea, but since a sale price of €200000 appeared on the escritura, they certainly didn't think that they were covering the agents fee! At the end of the day, I ended up with the €190000 that I was expecting, but there really should have been more transparency here and I should have been kept fully informed - particularly before payments were made from my bank account to a third party that I did not know. Ask lots of questions and get everything in writing.

I have encountered the most efficient agents working with Abbey Properties and the owners are exceptionally kind. Great with communication and personal understanding. Speak English and Spanish fluently. Would recommend without a doubt.
