Spoil yourself with a stay at Tarifa Cabins, a romantic and charming rustic wooden cabin set in the natural park of Los Alcornocales in Tarifa Cádiz. Its simple ambiance and stunning surroundings will leave you rested and refreshed. A must for kite surfers, divers, mountain bikers, horse riders, bird watchers, fishermen and outdoor sports lovers. The cabin is only 1.3 km from the N340 road, so it’s a 15-min walk to the Playa de Los Lances beach, or a 4-minute drive. Fauna abounds there, herds of cattle, free grazing donkeys, horses, goats and pigs. In the sky above are a multitude of bird species are easily spotted-Griffon vultures, Booted Eagles, Buzzards and Peregrin Falcons to name but a few! – Tarifa Cabins are directly on the migratory route for birds coming and going from Africa.

Our stunning white local beaches are suitable for practising the following sports… Kitesurf, windsurf, surfing, diving, fishing, paddleboard, kayak, whale watching…The landscape here is ideal for a many different types of sports including trekking, walking tours, mountain biking, off-road driving, enduro, rock climbing and horse riding to name but a few.

The simplistic décor and white wooden walls evoke memories of a classic fishermen’s cabin. The pictures and ornaments are pieces of driftwood, some parts of a Napoleonic warship and photos of the Greek island the owner comes from. Herbs and dried wildflowers hang from the walls. It has its own private access and parking….

Tarifa is the southernmost city in southern Europe and its foundation as a city dates back to Roman times in the 1st century AD.Since ancient times it comes that the location had to be extraordinary to live and to be, since there are numerous archaeological sites from prehistory that prove settlements.

We built the two bedroom wooden cabin on its own 600 sq meter plot with the idea of creating a quiet and peaceful place to get away and disconnect from the hustle and bustle, bedroom 1 sleeps two in a double bed and bedroom 2 sleeps 2 in two single beds. Maximum accommodation is for 4 persons.

Once you have exhausted the local attractions in Tarifa town itself – its castle, narrow Moorish streets, boutiques, bustling tapas bars and restaurants, then it’s time to go further afield.
