We bought our lovely apartment in Atlanterra Sol in 2001 and so we have thoroughly enjoyed almost 20 years of fabulous holidays there. But time goes on and now we are over 80 years old health problems mean that travelling from England to Southern Spain has proved more difficult and we decided to sell our much loved Spanish home. But how do older English people with little Spanish language and no knowledge of the property market sell their accommodation in Spain?? However we were EXTREMELY fortunate and a friend introduced us to the highly efficient estate agency called Zahara Villas in Atlanterra! They have a marvellous team of professional sales agents working there and we were ALWAYS able to speak to someone in the office in English which made life SO MUCH EASIER for us. They introduced us to a good number of potential clients and then, MOST IMPORTANTLY the tax assessor, the notary and the bank. All these professionals were very efficient and friendly The apartment was sold in less than three months, ALL TAXES PAID, and the balance of the sales money sent to our account in our bank in England. This lovely villa set in a gorgeous private garden has a beautiful pool, overlooks the ocean and is located in an upscale area. It is a short walk to a very nice wide quiet beach. There are quite a few steps down to the beach but don’t be deterred, we are in our mid sixties and made it to the bottom and back easily. One thing I would mention is that the layout of the villa is not clear from the website description. A double bedroom (two twins pushed together) and a small single/twin bedroom are located in the main villa. To get to the bathroom you have to walk down a corridor past the doorless archway to the main bedroom, which may be a privacy issue for some. The other double bedroom, twin bedroom and bathroom are located in an attached but totally separate apartment. This set up is ideal for two couples or two families with young children vacationing together. I was a little concerned about making the second payment via wire transfer, and not by credit card through the VRBO website. However, there was no need for concern, Zahara Villas, the managing agents are professional, efficient and very helpful. Sober los Mares is a wonderful place to relax.

Das Haus Don Anselmo hat eine wunderschöne Lage weit oben auf dem Hügel. Von der Terrasse aus hat man einen atemberaubenden Blick auf das Meer und die Küste Afrikas. Der schön angelegte Garten mit Pool hat uns sehr gefallen. Wir haben uns in dem hellen und offenen Wohnraum (Küche, Essbereich, Wohnzimmer) sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Küche, sowie auch die Badezimmer sind mit allem nötigen ausgestattet. Die großzügigen Schlafzimmer, mit tollem Blick auf das Meer oder den Garten, waren ein Highlight. Das ganze Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet und dekoriert. Diese Ecke von Spanien ist auch in der Nebensaison einen Besuch wert, vorallem wenn man Trubel entgehen möchte. Von dem Haus aus gibt es viele Möglichkeiten tolle Ausflüge zu gestalten. Der Strand ist in wenigen Gehminuten erreichbar und lädt zu einem langen Strandspaziergang ein. Wir waren rund um zufrieden und können es von Herzen weiterempfehlen. Danke auch an Zahara Villias für die gute Abwicklung und die tolle Betreuung während unserem Aufenthalt.

We had a fantastic time in Fare Miti over Easter. The villa has a superb location and view. The sunsets are stunning as well as the view of the African coastline and of the Faro Caraminal. We spent wonderful evenings on the sunset deck or in the loggia (when it cooled down later in the evening). The house is nestled in a beautifully grown and maintained garden and has 3 tastefully decorated bedrooms downstairs with nice views of the garden and the sea. The master bedroom upstairs is spectacular. A 5 minute walk brings you to the famous Playa Los Alemanes which has very few visitors over the Easter period. 100 m from the house we could start hike and bike tours beyond Faro Caraminal or to the reclusive El Cañuelo beach. The kitchen and grill station are of highest quality for many family dinners. We love Fare Miti and will return soon. Thank you Zahara Villas
